Answer:	They open and close very smoothly. With a small pull the top two drawers will slid out the rest of the way mostly by themselves. When they are pulled out to the limit they slide back in just as smoothly. They don't need to be jostled or anything.I have this cabinet on a carpeted floor so the bottom drawer takes a little more effort to pull out probably because of the center wheel. It doesn't annoy me at all though. Plus I think this could be avoided if I didn't attach the center wheel thingy. It doesn't bother me enough to remove it though. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The handle is not included in the 22 inch depth. It sticks out about an inch and a quarter beyond the 22 inch measurement. Hope this is helpful. I have already filled my cabinet, and I love it.
