Answer:	I am not able to answer your specific questions but I can tell you I bought this stuffing and pillow cases for my living room and love the pillows because no matter how often they get sat on, laid on or squished they always bounce back and my pillows don't look worn out

Answer:	I would say it would work fine, provided the materials for the cushions protect it from water. If it got soaked, I would think it would take a long time to dry out, and potentially become a mildew problem. I have some of this foam, and have used it for bed pillows.
