Answer:	This phone has a single or number “range block” block. Either way telemarketers have ten or more numbers they use in random sequence, so if you can see the top and low you can block the last two consecutive numbers like 00-10, or 10-19 or maybe 00-99. This phone is saving my sanity and giving me a chance to sleep.
Question:	Can I use the headphone jack with non Bluetooth earbuds
Answer:	Yes, you can turn the ringer off on the handset by pressing and holding "0", then turn off the answering machine by pushing the "answer on/off" button on the cradle, then press and hold the volume down button on the cradle till you hear a beep/tone. The phone won't ring, the cradle won't ring, and the answering machine will not answer so you won't get anyone leaving messages.

Question:	Is it compatible with att wireless system
Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by wireless. It doesn't work on cell phones. I own an AT&T cordless phone. To date the CPR V5000 call blocker has been working flawlessly. On the average, it has blocked about six calls per day. If there is a negative, I would say the only thing I wish it had was the ability to display blocked numbers as 000-000-0000 instead of 0000000000. I think hyphens would make it easier to see the blocked phone numbers. in addition, having a backlight in its display would make it easier to see it in the dark. All in all, I would Highly recommend this unit, made in the UK and not China, to anyone who gets nuisance phone calls. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
Question:	Why can't 866-828-9088 be blocked? I have the area code and the 10-digit number listed on the blocker and my phone still rings
Answer:	When manually blocking calls in the U.S the caller ID protocol is different everytime a number calls you.The number may come through as 866 828 9088, it may come through as 1 866 828 9088, or even 01866 828 9088 or finally 001 866 828 9088 so you need to input a 1, 01 and 001 before the number.It should then successfully block any call from that prefix. I've said this time and time before though, that ifyou just use the BLOCK NOW button on calls, that you won't get any problems or issues. It's perfectly normalfor this number to show as a missed call on your call log, but that doesn't neccessarily mean it's rung and got through.Scroll through the call blocker and check how many times each of these numbers have been blocked for piece of mind.
Question:	If my first action is to block all telephone numbers within one exchange of one area code, do I have 1499 remaining numbers that I can block

So for instance if you wanted to block ALL Jamaican (876) area codes with precedingexchanges you would only need to key in 876 as an area code block. but I would advise to input itwith a 1, 01 and 001 before it as sometimes overseas calls are spoofed with Country codes that candisplay differently on caller ID devices. Answer:	This has improvements over the v.202 model by amended power in the unit to work with some VOIP providers that older call blockers wouldn't. It has 5000 numbers pre-programmed into the call blocker as opposed to 200 the v.202 had. It can also block 1500 numbers with the BLOCK NOW button instead of 1000 that previous call blocker models could do. So therefore, it has been improved but namely only the amount of pre-programmed numbers is the significant difference.I hope that helps?...

Answer:	Yes, it will work. Just plug into one of the wall jack and to the cordless phone base.
Question:	Can I block a number after I have hung up on the caller
Answer:	Yes, you will have to go on the caller list, find the number then press the BLOCK CALL red button, and confirm your block by pressing the Menu/OK button to put the number into memory.
Question:	Is it possible to turn off the caller id announcement which announces name or the number of callers so i do not have to listen to that
Answer:	It can turn OFF by the following setting. Menu, select "Talking CID", OK, Select the desired setting, OK, Exit.

Answer:	If your caller's number is still in Call History, then just use the Unblock button on it when you see it. If it is not there then, you can easily delete that number with program control using Code 98 then that number then the * key. To access programming, just pick up the phone connected to the ProSeries blocker, dial # # and wait for the Beep, then dial 98 [the number] then * and you will hear two Beeps to let you know it is deleted.
Question:	The manual says out of area calls are blocked. Does that mean all calls from outside my area code are blocked
Answer:	NO. Out of Area just by itself is blocked. However, if you need all Out of Area calls to ring through then use the override command of Code 76. Callers from all area codes will ring through like normal because they will have person's real names and numbers, not Out of Area. Additionally, if they do, then you can use the Invite button to override that blocked number even from Out of Area.
Question:	I have the original Digitone model -I’m getting the message that the block list is full. Is there a way to fix it or will this one do the same thing
Answer:	You can enable Code 46 to start deleting really old numbers from the beginning of the block list. The automatic memory management will prevent you from running into Full issues again. Once you enable this method you can start blocking numbers again. Any numbers that continue to be harassing repeaters can just be entered into the non auto delete list with Code 40 [Number] * key which will never be deleted by Code 46.
Question:	How many numbers can you manually block before it gets full, or older numbers are auto deleted
Answer:	The ProSeries II will store 800 numbers, area codes, wildcard strings or any combination of these and auto delete older numbers on a continuous basis in Virtual Memory. However, if you manually code the numbers in with code 40, these entries will not be included in the auto delete function and remain stored. From our past customers' experience, it was noted that they had not yet 'filled' the blocked number storage in over 5 years. So 800 number allotment is more than enough to satisfy your yearly storage, particularly with the preloaded millions of known out of area and other numbers already blocked.

Answer:	Yes - refer to page 33 in the manual under 'silent mode'. Set the beginning and end time one minute apart (ex: begin 10:30pm - end 10:29pm.) This will turn the ringer off on the cordless unit. Do this on the cordless hand set you want to silence. It took me awhile to figure this out. Hope this helps.I use the hand set as a bedroom ex. If you want it to come back on during certain times set the on/off times accordingly. Mine stays off at all times.
Question:	does the reciever have a high volume
Answer:	The headset did not come with the phone system, I bought it separate. But yes, it does have a clip to attach to your shirt/belt and the sound quality is excellent.
Question:	battery life on a call 1-2 hours ? before needing to put on charger
Answer:	I see that the comments on the headset jack show that there is not one on the base unit. Those comments were made in 2015 and it is now 2019. Have they updated to include a headset jack on base and if so, what headsets can be used that have two ear coverings rathe than just the one with a band to your head on the other side. Answer:	There's got to be a way to retro another 45 degree fitting on the already 45 degree wand though your local hardware store. Take the whole wand in the store with you...see what they can come with.
Question:	Does the corded base unit still work without electricity
Answer:	I bought the Chapin 97300 sprayer. It does not come with a lighter plug. As the Amazon site states, it uses alligator clips to connect to battery. The wiring uses an SAE bullet connector near the pump. The alligator clips, on/off switch uses an SAE connector to plug into the pump wiring. This part looks like "Valley Industries Wire Harness with Clamps" on Amazon. You can buy an SAE connector, on/off switch, lighter plug from Amazon as "Master 33-103260-CSK Wire Harness with Quick and Easy Connection DC Plug" which is what I did.
Question:	can the base unit with corded phone be mounted to wall? is that part included
Answer:	Short story: My Chapin sprayer would not maintain pressure at all. Less than 5 minutes, no spray. Contacted Chapin, said the had some bad motors but they would send me new pump which they did. Took my old one off to replace with new one, nothing would match up. Old one had threaded connections. New one did not. Totally screwed up ! Called Chapin back, they said the would send a different pump. No! I did not buy this to have something to have to work on ! After discussion. They agreed to send me a completely new system assaembled. Got new system, still in box. Never even opened it yet. Just used my back pack sprayer. When I have more time to fool with it, will see if it is any better ? That is the whole story .

Sentry is a check point to screen all incoming calls. Create White List. Your loved ones will pass through Sentry without checks. Sentry 'check point' has two lines of defense. First is a voice warning message, that tells solicitors to leave, and tell legitimate callers to come in by pressing 0. The second line of defense is SENTRY's Black List function. You can put any number on sentry's caller id list to the Black List. How does the Sentry work? The Sentry uses the caller id from your phone service provider to screen all incoming calls. During an incoming call, the Sentry will compare the CID with the system’s accept and reject list. Question:	When a number is already on the whitelist and that number calls in again, does the Sentry ring in addition to my phone, or does only my phone ring
Answer:	The short answer for the Sentry V3 is that only the phone rings and not the Sentry regardless of settings discussed below.To go a bit deeper into the topic, I do not want the Sentry to ring ever while it is doing its work. To aid in this, there are two options that can be activated. First the number of rings for a blocked call can be set to zero. (Push and hold the RINGER key until ALLOW 1 RING shows. Release and push again to change to 0 rings. Press DEL/EXT to save.) I keep mine set to 0. Second the Sentry ringer can be turned off. (Press and release the RINGER button. This will show the current setting for the ringer. Press and release the RINGER button to change. Press the DEL/EXT to save.) I keep mine set to OFF. I only have white list numbers set on my Sentry V3. With the above settings the unit works silently and has blocked several ROBO calls in silence. The white list numbers just come through as desired.BTW: I have VOIP with a VTECH phone and they seem to be compatible. I an running the full house telephone wiring through the Sentry after unplugging the connection to the outside wiring at the ATT box. I have also had a princes touchtone phone plugged and it worked fine in the mix.
Question:	When entering a white list number can a name also be entered at the same time? I'd like to set this up using first names or nicknames only
Answer:	Yes. The sequence is this. After screen is at "base - idle", Press and hold "accept" A dotted line will appear. Enter tel number. Press "accept" again. Then enter desired nick name. If error is spelling, tap delete key to erase backwards. When finished, press and hold accept key until word "saved" appears. If you fail to press and hold accept at the end, your entire entry will disappear. Then you can check white list to double check that it was not entered correctly, then delete that entry in the white list, and start again. I don't believe this nickname will appear when the person calls. It just appears in the white list.
Question:	What is the difference between Sentry 3.0 and Sentry 3.1? I ordered 3.1 but received
Answer:	I cannot give a technical reply but can give my own experiences. I first received the 3.0 model. It had volume problems and the outgoing message and the incoming messages were not audible. Plus the volume could not be adjusted. I contacted the company and arranged for a return and replacement. The replacement was the 3.1 model and I have had no problems with it. The arrangement of buttons is different and I think the 3.1 version is a little easier to use. You still cannot adjust the volume but the new machine is just fine. If you go to the Company website and check out the user manual it shows both versions, They appear to be technically identical but I am not sure that is the case. I suggest you call the company. They were easy to deal with in my experience.

Answer:	The Sentry 3 uses telephone line power as well as 3 AAA batteries to augment the line power. No AC adapter/power supply. I believe the memory is non-volatile so if you unplug it and remove the batteries, you won't lose your stored numbers but I'm not absolutely sure. Anyway, the batteries are there to augment available line power capacity for operational reliability e.g. if you have several telephone devices loading down the line when a call comes in the Sentry 3 won't momentarily blink out. (I'm using the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries for good measure. Slightly higher natural voltage and significantly greater capacity, shelf life and load/drain life. I'm hoping to find that these will only need to be changed once a year at least and maybe even once every two years or more but we'll find out!)
