Answer:	Yes - refer to page 33 in the manual under 'silent mode'. Set the beginning and end time one minute apart (ex: begin 10:30pm - end 10:29pm.) This will turn the ringer off on the cordless unit. Do this on the cordless hand set you want to silence. It took me awhile to figure this out. Hope this helps.I use the hand set as a bedroom ex. If you want it to come back on during certain times set the on/off times accordingly. Mine stays off at all times.

Answer:	The headset did not come with the phone system, I bought it separate. But yes, it does have a clip to attach to your shirt/belt and the sound quality is excellent.
Question:	battery life on a call 1-2 hours ? before needing to put on charger
Answer:	I see that the comments on the headset jack show that there is not one on the base unit. Those comments were made in 2015 and it is now 2019. Have they updated to include a headset jack on base and if so, what headsets can be used that have two ear coverings rathe than just the one with a band to your head on the other side. Answer:	I ordered this phone for my grandparents. I know it took a while to charge...not sure how long exactly, but I'm sure after 7 hours it was almost fully charged. Hope that helps. They actually love the phone, the buttons are huge for their seeing problems, it rings very loud and the extra volume is awesome because they both have hearing problems.

Answer:	Ditto to the other responses - you need to hold the button down to stay muted. When on long conference calls, I frequently put myself on mute and this feature's function has not been an issue because both my LAN and mobile phones have mute buttons.

Answer:	It WILL work with an iPhone, and most Android phones. You just need to also purchase a 2.5 mm (female) to 3.5 mm (male) adapter. (This headset has a 2.5 mm pin/plug, and the iPhone has a 3.5 mm socket.) These adapters are available on Amazon for around $4. I had looked quite extensively for a headset with a 3.5 mm pin (also know as plug or jack) without success. They just do not seem to be available in a headset of this quality. However, I have used this set up for several years now when working from home (or even in the office) and it works well! The headset will fail before the adapter does. :)

Answer:	This phone is amplified really well. I always leave the volume as far down as it will go unless someone is not coming through very well and then I bump it up a notch or two. It is better than the average phone as far as sound coming through.

Answer:	Yes I plays my recorded announcement out loud. I like most of the features except for the volume and clarity control. It's kind of fun to hear a voice telling me who is calling (frankly, in the beginning I didn't like it ).

Answer:	No, there is no sound amplifier. You can just adjust the volume and equalize the sound for bass and treble but the sound overall is low, lower than the old phone. Not recommended for people with hearing problems.

Answer:	Headset for this phone uses a 2.5mm male plug. Most headsets come with a 3.5mm male plug so you have to buy a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male adapter to adapt the headset plug. There are some Panasonic headsets that already have a 2.5mm male plug but many complained that they could not hear well with them. Best to use a headset you already have that you know you like with an adapter

Answer:	I lived in Singapore 'till April of 2019. The land line feature won't work. In fact you may damage the main unit because North American telephone system has a 48 volt DC power back up system, that isn't compatible with the all-digital SingTel 'phone system. Phone power supply could be a problem too. North America is 115 volts and Asia is 220 v, and unless your PS is a voltage-sensing unit, it will almost certainly blow up the PS.
