Answer:	I've also just received 2 of these with wobbly chucks, primarily with the impact driver as you pointed out. The wobble is even apparent before putting a bit in the chuck. Did you ever find a suitable replacement for these in lieu of these Makita Subcompacts? I originally had my eye on a set of brushless Dewalts but was scared away by some similar complaints of a wobbly chuck. One reviewer recommended these Makita drills, which he specifically called out as not having this problem, which is obviously not the case from my experience. I'd be curious to hear of other, nice alternatives to these drills if you know of any. Thanks.

If you don't own an impact driver, you might be able to save some money buy buying regular bits. Please note: YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN EY0l11 OR EY0L11B Ni-MH charger (approximately $114) to charge this battery. The kit including the charger was about $155 when I wrote this.

Answer:	Here's my issue with this EY6220 drill/driver.They sent me a EY9221 battery with the EY6220 and Panasonic says they don't make a charger (EYOL11) called for this battery???If you try to use the standard Panasonic charger for the EY6220, The EY9221 battery won't fit and if you force it in, it won't charge.A very strange situation.
