Answer:	I can transfer from speaker phone to and from the Plantronics. I can put a call on hold like a regular handset and transfer to another person. The main person who answers the phones for our 500-person firm uses a similar Plantronics unit, and transfers calls all day. I hope this helps.

Question:	Does this have an auto redial feature
Answer:	We have only used this handset connected to a Cisco VOIP phone. We have to buy an additional cable to make it fully work. two wires come out of the back. One is power to an outlet. The other is a cable that goes to the phone headset connections. I am unaware of any way this model can be used with a PC. There is another model that hooks to both PC and phone and allows you to listen to items played on your PC.

Answer:	This phone is amplified really well. I always leave the volume as far down as it will go unless someone is not coming through very well and then I bump it up a notch or two. It is better than the average phone as far as sound coming through.
Question:	Does it play your recorded announcement out loud every time a message is left on the answering machine
Answer:	Yes I plays my recorded announcement out loud. I like most of the features except for the volume and clarity control. It's kind of fun to hear a voice telling me who is calling (frankly, in the beginning I didn't like it ).

Answer:	No, there is no sound amplifier. You can just adjust the volume and equalize the sound for bass and treble but the sound overall is low, lower than the old phone. Not recommended for people with hearing problems.
Question:	can you use a headphone
Answer:	Headset for this phone uses a 2.5mm male plug. Most headsets come with a 3.5mm male plug so you have to buy a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male adapter to adapt the headset plug. There are some Panasonic headsets that already have a 2.5mm male plug but many complained that they could not hear well with them. Best to use a headset you already have that you know you like with an adapter

Answer:	Terrible. I returned the handset for just that reason. The base station allows pictures just barely big enough for someone with decent eyesight to recognize the person. The 5307 keys are rectangles, not squares, and probably about 3/4” high. Names in a large font would work better.

The ClearSounds CSC500 is an ideal single-line landline phone for people who are looking for an easy-to-use amplified telephone. By default, the CSC500 provides up to 15dB amplification. Once you press the AMPLIFY KEY, you can boost the volume of the person on the other end up to 30dB. (Note: Maximum amplification will vary depending on home's line power.) If you have mild hearing problems and uses a telecoil (T-Coil) cochlear implants, you can use them with the CSC500. It is a little time consumer to find and size photos to a 1"x1" size but it does make the phone very easy to use.
