Question:	Does this product do image stitching for documents larger than the scan area
Answer:	I did not attempt the stitching operation. The interface was too small to read. It was also unable to scan all the way to the binding side of the page in any of the books I tried to scan.
Question:	What is the max receipt length? I work with really long receipts
Answer:	It can do some really long ones but I don’t know that I have ever tested how long it will go. I have scanned 18 pages in a book as one long page before and it seemed to have problems if I took it to 19 pages. As long as I stayed under 18 pages it worked.
Question:	Is this scanner twain compliant
Answer:	No it is not Twain compliant. There are two scanning modes in using the product. The first using the included InstantResult software scans to an on-screen application where you can output to a variety of formats. The other mode is that everything you scan is stored on a SD card plugged into the side of the scanner which can later be opened and processed with the included software
Question:	does it reach Thick hard cover books where convesional scanners struggle with the text near the middle of the book due to curve of pages closest
Answer:	Hi, To have better results it should be better scanning in a flat surface. It is possible scanning also near the middle of the book whether the written text is 12 mm or more separated from the curves edge

Question:	Can you scan mulitiple pages to a single pdf file
Answer:	I've never tried. I'm assuming you mean BX cable. I'd get a dedicated BX cutter. But if any diagonal cutter will work these will! Truly worth the money!
Question:	does it scan multiple pages at one time? or does it need to be fed a page at a time
Answer:	I don't know if they are hardened like the Klein lineman pliers. I assume you are talking about the guy cable that is in the center of a tri-plex cable? The steel cable that will damage most cable cutters. I Googled that question and although it says they are "Induction Hardened" I would not chance that. Not only that but I would think a pair of hardened Klein lineman pliers would do a much better job at that. All I can tell you is I have used these pliers in hard duty applications and they hold up. The are great for prying over hammered staples on Romex with their offset feature. (I bought the diagonals with a slight offset in them) . I love the tool and bought one for my son as well.
Question:	Does anyone know where to get the android app for this device? It is called Iriscan Cloud but it jas been delisted from android play
Answer:	I haven't tried cutting really big. But I have no problem cutting 6-32's, 8-32's, 10-24's, Sheetrock screws, and 16D nails. I've also cut self tapping metal screws for red iron with a similar pair (lost not broken) and they cut through it, but that isn't something I would do often. Small screws it'll cut all day. I think bigger or tempered screws it may cut, but I think it will eventually damage them. Better to use a saw or grinder, or bolt cutter. If that's the case

Question:	Does the new iriscan software work with mac ios? or does it not work
Answer:	IRIScan Desk is for Windows only for the moment. A Mac version is in development , to be released at the end of the year. IRIScan Desk user will have the possibility to get the Mac software for free when it's ready.
Question:	How is this for small artwork and drawings
Answer:	I would not recommend it for that. I have used this for documents/ID's and was not real happy with the quality of the scan. You can read everything but my 3 years old cell phone does a much better job.

Answer:	IRIScan Desk software allows you to convert documents to editable formats. It won't translate to another language directly but once the text is editable you can easily send in a third Party application like Google Translate.

Answer:	Yes it works with mounted slides. Aren't all slides mounted? However the slider mechanism jams regularly and has to be pulled out of the ION and you have to fiddle with it to get the slides to go through.
