Answer:	I am running V6.0e which I may have downloaded from their site as an update. It worked fine on XP, and now on Windows7 though it is showing that is running under XP, so I may have installed it in a compatibility mode? Answer:	Pro is the newer version. But I've quit using this product. The software registration process is pretty evil, and you cannot use the scanner on more than one computer - even if you uninstall from the first. It's an online-registration process that marries the software, the serial number of the scanner, and the MAC address of the computer. VERY Chinese interface to do all of this - with pages that come up in Chinese when you try to register. I'd avoid this product - were I not beyond the 30-days I'd return it. Note that the scanner itself works GREAT! It's the annoying Chinese draconian licesne registration process that makes it a PITA. And if you want to use it on a different computer in the office, or your first computer gets replaced, you cannot. Throw it away and buy a new one.

Answer:	Yes, this tool allows the user to dial in a certain degree of resistance to "sweep" gauges. A card with multiple auto manufacturers resistance settings for water temp-oil pressure and fuel sender values is included. Tool is fairly accurate as far as pots go.

Answer:	You mean is picture to thick? or the tape still sticky? Z300 can accept about 0.76mm (0.03") , and is the tape still very sticky? or just like normal 3M sticky note? if sticky note, that will be ok. but after you scan, please use wiping cloth clean scanner roller and glass.

Besides the functionality questions, from a business perspective, Canon and Nikon are getting so far behind Sony and are way undercapitalized compared to Sony, I see their problem getting worse and Sony continuing to rapidly gain market share. The value of my Canon lenses dropped dramatically in the time it took me to bite the bullet and sell all my Canon equipment.

Answer:	I own the photo version only. I use it for white balance generally, and color adjustment for shooting jpegs (rather than raw) that I don’t want to post process in photoshop or Lightroom much or not at all. But you could certainly use it for video too. The description of the video version talks a lot about multi-camera setups, where you’re shooting video with 2 or 3 cameras at the same time and want to make sure the colors are being recorded the same in all the cameras so you don’t have to do as much color correction in post production. If you’re shooting video with only one camera, there’s no reason why the photo version of this device wouldn’t be all you need.
