Question:	Will this work with macos big sur
Answer:	As of 1/25/21 the driver does not work properly with Big Sur 11.2 running on a 2020 M1 mac mini (it scans 1 document after a computer restart, then refuses to scan again unless computer is restarted!) Spoke with Canon cs who suggested that they are continuing to work on updates, but no target availability date yet. TWAIN driver also does not work with Apple's "image capture" software included with the M1 mini, and Canon doesn't have plans to update it. Sadly, the scanner hardware seems of very good quality and is very fast when the software works. Probably great on older OS's and machines. ***Discovered a workaround--immediately after restarting, the scanner will remain connected/fully functional for a minute or two, during which you can scan like mad until it times out and you are forced to restart again!

Answer:	Yes it does support up to legal size. I just got mine in yesterday and put it through the paces. I’m a mobile notary so scanning mixed paper sizes in the same scan is a must. It scanned letter and legal with no problems and quickly. It even says it can scan 11x14 in the brochure.

Answer:	Feeder works well, hasn't eaten any photos yet. The output tray is balky but adequate. Software can do color correction, either for each photo or as a preset.

Answer:	It has 600dpi option. However, there are scanners that have 1200dpi out there, 600dpi is pretty good but not perfect, but it could be good enough for you. There is an auto-cropping functionality, so it will crop the scan to just the size of the image. However, there could be situations that this feature doesn't work super well such as cropping too much or too less when the photo is a little bit tilted. Overall, if you have a LOT of photos, this can be used for quick backing up purpose.

Answer:	This item is simply a hard-shell case for the Epson WorkForce Scanner; the scanner itself is sold separately. (When I purchased the scanner, it only came with a soft case, which didn't protect it well enough for travel.) To answer your question, yes, you can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with the scanner.
Question:	where are the linux drivers
Answer:	The case is zippered and it measures 11 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide on the right side. I have a Epson DS-30 portable scanner and it fits perfectly. On the left inside it measures the same, but there is a netted pocket that stores the USB cord to the scanner. If you use your scanner on the go like I do, I would definitely recommend this case, its durable & sturdy. The felt bag that came with the scanner is just a dust cover as far as I'm concerned. Answer:	We do not recommend using US models like the Brother ADS-1200 outside of the US, as they are manufactured for 120v use.
Question:	Can you scan a document larger than 50 pages or a document that includes check stubs or receipts, and keep it all as one pdf
Answer:	The Brother ADS-1200 document scanner has a curved document path, so it would not be good for scanning sports cards. When scanning media such as card stock, Brother recommends scanning with a straight document path scanner.
Question:	if i scan multiple pages can i send each individual page to different files and relabel each page differently
Answer:	It doesn't work - regardless of the thickness of the paper. The scanner is horrible. Pages are cut off and/or crooked. Do not waste your money.

Question:	Is there a setting for the software to prompt asking the filename after each scan instead a default naming convention
Answer:	My software as 4 main option software command buttons: black & white, color, auto color, and something like "simple scan". My color button scans auto save in the "public documents" folder of my laptop. I put a link to that folder on my desktop for convenience, then cut and paste to the final destination, renaming from an auto-generated name to what I name it. I also delete auto-named batch files afterward from software so as to avoid confusion and to save memory space. But my rightmost button. Simple scan or something, makes you manually choose a destination location and file name with completion of each scan.
Question:	Does it come with all requisite cables and cords
Answer:	Yes. It comes with a USB 3.0 cord - which is nice because it allows this high speed scanner to push all of the data through the cord quickly. USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 if you do not have a USB 3.0 port on your computer.

Answer:	Our ScanSnap models do not have TWAIN compatibility. However, the ScanSnap iX1600 is bundled with the ScanSnap Home software. We recommend saving the files to your local drive and uploading to the desired TWAIN application. We also have our fi-Series models which are TWAIN compatible.

Answer:	The ScanSnap iX1600 scanning speed is faster at 40 pages per minute. The ScanSnap iX1600 includes an LCD touch screen panel for better operability. Answer:	WhizRider is classified as a harness child restraint system and tested in accordance with FMVSS213 standards. That said it's a legal device in CT.

However, in my research, this WhizRider does not have a harness that ties the vest down on the opposite side of the shoulder strap, whereas the Ride Safer vest at least provides for that, thus making it closer to a "5-point" harness safety system. Simply put, the WhizRider seems to be a vest-version of a seat-belt positioning device.
