Question:	Can it Scan pictures
Answer:	Yes, the IRISCan Pro 5 can scan pictures. I am using it primarily to scan several large boxes pictures and it works nicely for this (both black and white pictures and color). I scan each photo individually and scan both sides when the picture has a description on the back. It does not scan older instant pictures, like Polaroids) as they are too thick. The scanner is not going to have the same quality or speed of other brands made for scanning photos but it's great for my purposes (scanning photos to downsize, getting rid of the physical photo). Also, I use software to edit older photos to improve their appearance. Document scanning works very well too and accommodates multiple pages (front and back) vs. single-page scanning. Answer:	It is specifically set up to "read" business cards - I personally don't think you would be happy with the image.I would just buy a desktop scanner that you can set to specific sizes to capture your playing cards as jpegfiles.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by Windows 2016. I use Windows 10 (the latest version that I'm aware of) and Office 2016 (including Outlook), and it the unit works with them.
Question:	Will this product work with Windows 8. I have purchased 3 scanners so far and had to send them back because of incapability
Answer:	Yes, it does work with Windows 8. I did not have any problems. However, I was very disappointed with its ability to read business cards accurately. I spent considerable time correcting the inaccuracies. I ended up purchasing a ScanSnap S1300i. It is much more accurate - not perfect but more accurate than the World Card Pro. Plus the S1300i is more versatile in terms of having the ability to scan both side of business cards and scanning paperwork. Hope this helps.

Question:	Does the new iriscan software work with mac ios? or does it not work
Answer:	IRIScan Desk is for Windows only for the moment. A Mac version is in development , to be released at the end of the year. IRIScan Desk user will have the possibility to get the Mac software for free when it's ready.
Question:	How is this for small artwork and drawings
Answer:	I would not recommend it for that. I have used this for documents/ID's and was not real happy with the quality of the scan. You can read everything but my 3 years old cell phone does a much better job.
Question:	Does this scanner have translation features of OCR text scanned
Answer:	IRIScan Desk software allows you to convert documents to editable formats. It won't translate to another language directly but once the text is editable you can easily send in a third Party application like Google Translate.
Question:	Does this scanner work with the Mac OS
Answer:	Unfortunately no.

Answer:	Hi, I don't know about the 600c as I have the 800c and it works for me. I have 4,660 contacts in my computer base and they loaded with no problems. I have used it for about half a year and regularly sync with my BB Classic
