Answer:	Yes, green lasers are frequently used for astronomy, scope alignment, etc. Beam is usually clear enough to help align your telescope-binoculars-camera. I have an older pencil-style laser, 1/2" diameter, 7 inches long. However, this gadget does not appear to have an appropriate method to mount on any astronomy gear. In a pinch, you might try some sticky-backed velcro, depends on your equipment.

Answer:	You must have a defective unit as mine works well at any distance across the stage, at least up to 50ft with no problems. I assume you've changed batteries and made sure that the receiver is not obstructed by shielding materials?

Answer:	Yes it is. I've been using Click Tricks software with the SMK-Link Jade remote for several years with Click Tricks and it works well. The only issue I've ever had is the promised 150 foot range is not true for Click Tricks functions. My experience is more like 40 - 50 feet. The other thing to note is it takes some time to get used to the size of the remote as it is quite a bit bigger than most models. Not a big deal, but it does take some getting used to. I'd definitely buy it again.

They were cheaply made, at times in-operatble, and un-reliable! The SMK Jade was by far the best remote! It was also the most expensive, ($100 compared to others as high as $65) but in electronics I've found you only get what you pay for. After almost 1 year the remote works great and actually has more funtions than we need and more than most of the less expensive models. I hope that this is helpful as you make your decision. Answer:	Depending on distance and interference, the lag is generally insignificant for regular (at least 5 seconds on each slide) presentations.
Question:	I need to be able to send the 'n' and 'p' keys, and the spacebar. can this unit be set up to do that? sending cursor arrow keys would be a bonus
Answer:	On this one, I would say no for 'n' and 'p' but only with certitude of 75%. However it can definitely do next and previous in your presentation. I would have to investigate further to identify exactly how the unit communicates.
Question:	Tried mine on two different computers. Kensington Works says no device detected. Anyone else run into this issue

Answer:	It's the 9405. It has great barrel buttons to keep it cinched down for storage. I like that better than the Velcro I had on the old one . . . I do recommend this one, though. After thinking about the zipper top, I'll go with the one I have. The garbage guy would probably ruin the lid . . .
Question:	Can it be used with google slides on a Mac
Answer:	There is no zipper and the product description states 22X22X28. All I can say is I love this gardening bin! It is a great size, it's very light but sturdy and, in my mind, it is an absolute must for every gardener!
Question:	Is the green dot visible on a LCD surface
Answer:	We have had at least 4 different brands; the Fiskars has outperformed all of them. Our original Fiskars is identical to this one, with the soft, material bottom. It has lasted over 12 years and it gets bi-weekly use for yard prunings. Some sticks poke holes, but the bottom is still intact as it does not rip propagate.
Question:	What is the difference between the pr5-g and the pr10-g

Question:	Is it compatible with Windows
Answer:	Yes, I have 2 co-workers running windows 10 and both use it without problems. Plug and use - super easy. There's no 'off' button so to save on batteries and/or not to find it dead, take them out while storing or make sure none of the buttons are being pressed down. Best one so far and we've gone through 4-5 different brands at work.
Question:	What is the metal housing made of? Nickel
Answer:	I know the manufacturer describes "metal housing" but I really think this is chrome plated plastic. I had my co-worker look at it too and he thinks it is plastic.
Question:	Can i use this remote to control multiple pcs running powerpoint (i sync a primary and a backup pc
Answer:	Yes you can. You can purchase a second receiver , pair it to the hand unit and off you go. The remote sends out a single command every time you hit the button so both receivers will perform the action.
Question:	What keyboard keys are the buttons mapped to? Can they be programmed
Answer:	not sure, but it appears to be left arrow for the left, right arrow for right, and "b" for the square button. not sure if they can be programmed.
