Question:	how waterproof does it make the paper? would it survive a trip through the washing machine
Answer:	Well, I use these pouches to laminate work stations for my kindergarteners. They write on the pieces with vis-a-vis markers and then wash and dry them off with paper towels after they're finished. The edges stay sealed and I've never had a problem with water getting inside. I would think something would survive a cycle in the washing machine because these pouches are really thick - much more so than regular laminating film. Good Luck!

Answer:	The pouch is basically the clear sheets you out the paper you want to laminate in. You have to buy them separately on some occasions. They are very common though anf sold in all staples and office supply stores like that. But yea it's the "pouch" that makes the laminated shiny surface happen!

Answer:	Yes!!! It has a specific setting for 3 ml and 5 ml. The 5 ml setting will actually laminate up to 7ml :)

Answer:	Hi, all thermal laminators utilize heated rollers to both melt the laminating adhesive and move the laminating pouch through the machine. A "two roller system" means that the laminator has two heated rollers. A "4 roller system" has 2 heated rollers, and 2 nonheated rollers that improve the finishing quality (by pushing out additional air within the pouch). Answer:	The laminater will accommodate a 12x12!! It has a15.5" width laminating space...The largest piece that comes with it is 12" x 16.5" so the 12" side will be open if that makes sense. Answer:	If you mean to put the laminnator in, no. I got the carrier in the pack of laminating sheets. I do recommend that you double or triple the heating up time and donʻt leave the laminator when laminating as the .3mm esp. seems to jam... to be fair; all my laminators past and present seem to jam easily...
Question:	Paper jammed. Release didn't work. How can I take it apart
Answer:	So that happened to me as well. I just flipped it over unscrewed the screws then I turned it on and it came out pretty easily after that. When you open it all up it’ll seem like you won’t be able to put it back together but once you flip it over it will all fall back into place.

Answer:	Any "hot" laminating sheets are supposed to work. I use the "Universal" brand ones that I bought from Amazon and they work great. There are several sizes. The one I use most often is model 84642 which are business card size.

Answer:	Short answer is yes, I have done 30 pages with no problem. I run a page and while its going I set the next one up. Might be a few seconds in between but thats about it, no waiting.

Answer:	With this machine, which uses either 3mil or 5 mil thick laminating sheets... your final product would be somewhat flexible. . . Kinkos probably uses 10 mil. thick laminate sheets, which would be more ridgid.
Question:	I keep having problems with this not feeding the sheets through properly - they keep getting crinkled around the edges and folding in the machine
Answer:	Also had this issue when not laminating something that filled the laminating sheet. Solved it by cutting a small square of paper into two triangles and inserting them into the first corners I was feeding into the machine. They started going through smoothly.

Answer:	The answer is yes - the TL1302 laminator has an extra-wide 13 inch input. It CAN be used with 11 in x 17 in paper. The actual machine dimensions are: 19.56 in x 6.0 in x 3.06 in. The appropriate pouches for larger documents would be Scotch TP3856-25 but any size up to 13" wide will work with this machine.

Answer:	I have not laminated construction paper, however, I have laminated 65lb cardstock using the 4x6 pouches and it laminates well on the 5mil settings. Of course, with this machine, the Sunworks paper cannot be more than 9 inches wide. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Sometimes it can peel depending on how/where its used. My solution for laminating smaller pieces of paper or card stock is to either place multiple pieces of small paper in one laminating sheet and then cut around each piece keeping about 1/8in border or using smaller laminating sheets for individual pieces such as 3x5 cards. Cold Lamination

Cold lamination is best for heat-sensitive materials. It requires self-adhesive/self-seal laminating pouches that can be applied with or without a machine.

Step 1

Plug the power cable into an AC outlet and press the ON/OFF switch on the laminator to turn the power on. The Red Power Light is illuminated.

Step 2

Choose hot switch for thermal lamination. Put your photo or paper into Laminating Pouch. After 3-5 minutes preheating, when Green Ready Light indicator lights up, put the Laminating Pouch into machine.

Step 3

Please insert the pouches from the sealed edge straightly to laminator,otherwise the pouches may easily get jammed. When paper get jammed, you can just press the ABS key to stop and pull it out.

Step 4

After machine has stopped moving, please remove the pouch as soon as possible. Use Cutter and Corner Rounder to complete the laminated pouches if you need. Job is Done!

Question:	where is the fellowes venus and jupitor made
Answer:	I don't know where it is made but fyi, we bought one at work & paid quite a chunk for it. It had a 2 year warranty. We used it from time to time, not real heavy, it sat for 4 months with only being used twice in that time (1sheet, each time) after the end of it's warranty had expired. We started it up to use and it wouldn't heat. We tried everything before calling in, they told us the motherboard was fried. We believe they built it to fry shortly after the warranty expired, forcing us to buy a new one. We will no longer pay a large amount for a laminator. We only do 3 mil & 5 mil so the cheaper ones will be just fine.

Answer:	You get some laminator sheets. But I knew I would need more, so I got a box of the 3 ml thick sheets...on amazon, and a box of the thicker 5 ml sheets....on amazon. The 3s are great for wall signage at the office. The 5s are for the standing signage I use w these cardboard adhesive wing stands I use. Also amazon.

Answer:	If you use a lamination carrier it will allow you to use any size lamination in the machine. It's basicly a piece of card stock that's the size of a 11x17 piece of lamination. Be advised that if you are using thicker lamination and a lamination carrier the machine may jam. I wouldn't suggest using anything bigger then 7mil with a lamination carrier. Hope this was helpful.

Step 1: Prep

Choose the hot model to turn on, warms up within 3 minutes till the ready light turns green.

Step 2: Place

• Place your file inside the laminating pouch.

Tips: Center your item inside the pouch checking that you leave a laminate margin on every side for best sealing results.

Step 3: Insert

• Place the Sealed End of the pouch into the machine, with the open end following behind.
• The ABS anti-jam button resolves paper jam issues effectively.

Tips: Make sure the pouch lines up to the opening to prevent an uneven or angled feed through.

Step 4: Lamination

Thermal and Cold Lamination

Equipped with both hot and cold mode, thermal lamination is the method of using heat to activate the glue on laminating roll films to seal and protect the material. Pressure sensitive laminating doesn’t use heat in order to laminate film but instead uses the pressure of rollers to seal the laminating film onto your media.

Question:	What brand of laminating sheets work best with this laminator? I can't seem to find any specifically for Crenova
Answer:	I have used the Amazon brand laminating pockets with all the different brands of laminators I have had over the years (I'm a LIFE Skills teacher, and I do A LOT of laminating) and they work fine - with the caveat that with the 3 mil. I have to put a folded paper over the top before inserting, so it doesn't get stuck in the machine - but I mostly laminate with 5 mil. so it usually isn't a problem.
Question:	Just got mine today, works great but is it normal for the top of the laminator to get super hot to the touch

Question:	How does the cold lamination feature work? How does it seal if it’s cold
Answer:	Dear customer, 1. Turn the function switch to the right in the COLD position. Note: Only use cold lamination foil for cold laminating. 2. Remove the protective foil from the lamination foil. 3. Insert the document to be laminated in the lamination foil so that there is a margin of approx. 3 - 5 mm to the edge of the foil on all sides. 4. Guide the laminating foil containing the document to be laminated in the laminator infeed with the closed side first. The laminating process occurs automatically. Attention: If you have just finished using the laminator for hot laminating, you must let the laminator cool down. It takes about 30 minutes to cool down sufficiently.

Turning on

Connect the power cable to an easily accessible, standard electrical socket.

Caution: Make sure that the voltage specifications of the unit correspond to that of your power supply network.

Heating

The drive motor of the transport rollers starts up. The correct operating temperature will be reached after about 3-5 minutes, then the green indicator light is on.

Inserting

Insert the document to be laminated in the pouches till there is a margin of 3 - 5 mm to the edge of the foil on all sides.

Caution: Only use foil suitable for hot laminating.

Insert the foil containing the document in the laminator's insertion slot. Insert the ready closed side of the pouch first.

Cutting
