Answer:	I'm not sure if they are metal or plastic, but mine broke after a day. Luckily I didn't lose my watch.

Answer:	What do you mean by carrying case? This is all I got in the box. My issue with this product is that my iPad does not find a Bluetooth connection for this scanner.

Answer:	I go to the 3/4 on my Nike band and I go to the 4th on this watch band. It would probably be a snug fit but there is a little extra room at the end of the band where you could make your own hole if the last notch on this was too snug. Hope this helps!!

If you'd like to set up the scanner to be different than the default, print it out on plain white paper and scan each 'configuration' code.
