Answer:	Pretty much what it says. This is NOT a production line printer. It's designed for electricians in the field who need to mark and terminate wires as they go. Find and identify the wire, strip the end, mark it, terminate it, repeat until the job is done. Usually, in that situation, it takes more time to identify wires, wrap the label and make the termination than it does to print the label. If you're looking for something that will spit out label after label so you can mark whatever you're marking after you print ALL the labels, this is not the printer for you. For field electrical work, it's fine.

Answer:	Yes, it can, but because it isn't designed exclusively for printing bar codes, they recommend that you check that the bar code you create can be read by the bar code reader. For best results you should print a bar code label only in black ink on a white label using the Large setting for width, because some bar code readers may not work with colored tape or ink.

Answer:	The present P-Touch printer I have is PT-530. Will this PTD-600 be able to use "TZ Tape" (not "TZe" tape)?
Question:	Other Brother models are known to "wast a inch of paper". Does this waste paper on each label printed
Answer:	You can reduce waste if you don't cut each label with the machines cutter. You cannot reduce the left margin, because the cutter is about 1/2"or so past the print head.. I have an older machine and can only print one line. I enter several labels (as many as it will allow me before out of room), then print so I only waste the first inch. I put one space or none between each label. Of course I have to use scissors, but I am saving lots of tape. Or you can do one label, print, another label, print, etc. I only have about 1/4 inch between each label. On mine you have to pull the label out because the print stops inside the printer. This may sound silly or extreme, but if you are only printing one label, you could remove the cartridge after printing and cut the label close to the cartridge, saving part of the wasted label. I haven't tried that so don't know how much you would save. LOL
