Answer:	I purchased a new set of these phones to replace a worn out 10 year old Panasonic set. I did notice the batteries needed to be fully charged 3 or 4 times before reaching max talk time. After a week or so on my desk ( and FULLY charging the batteries every other day) the phones now hold a charge quite well. These phones also provide an audible prompt when the battery level is low. I feel the batteries need to be 'conditioned' with repeated LOW BATTERY and FULLY CHARGED cycles before holding the longer charges. After a month or so of daily use I'm well satisfied with this set.

It's not real hard but the corner leg is difficult to reach. The tool doesn't fit so you have to turn the screw with your fingers. My daughter's fingers weren't long or skinny energy. Thank goodness mine were! Good luck though. They're beautiful chairs!
