How to use:



There are three ways to attach the spikes to a surface area.



Use an adhesive



Apply the adhesive to the bottom of the flat surface. Press the spikes down firmly on the surface. Let dry. The ambient temperature should be above freezing to ensure the spikes adhere to the surface successfully.



Use wire or plastic ties



This is the recommended method when attaching the spikes to a thin surface, such as a railing, pipe or cable.



Clamps or Velcro



If you only want to use the spikes temporarily, clamps or Velcro strips are easy to remove.



Position the strips so that each section locks with the next. We recommend one strip for each 2-inches of width.



Safety:



Wear protective gloves while handling and installing your bird spikes.

Question:	How wide at the top of the spikes...what is the width at the top of the flared out spikes? They are 4.5 in long, but can't tell how wide apart at top
Answer:	The gel will seal an area and give some protection. I've used it on a serious wound with excellent results. Rinse the sprayer under warm water before capping and storing. The hotspot spray is just as it says. It stops the biting and relentless scratching so the area can heal. One of our cats is a nervous type and this spray calms the area she is digging or licking so she doesn't end up with wounds.
Question:	some reviews are saying these are made of cheap plastic - it says stainless steel in product description
Answer:	Don’t know if this is the same as Vetericyn Poultry Care, would have to look at the ingredients. But, this product works well on canine hot spots.

Answer:	No. It has a piece of tape over the cap, that's it. Even when I get it in the store it's that way.
Question:	Will the silicone adhesive work on the top of a block wall? Trying to keep cats from walking along wall and jumping onto neighbor's Mercedes
Answer:	I have found the ingredients (active and inactive) online. It is an antiseptic solution with hypochlorous acid as the main ingredient as far as I read. (the solution is suppose to mimic an animal's own immune system). Write the company for more details. I have read details on ingredients from petco to blogs online. I read the hypochlorous acid is a 'stable' derivative of old fashioned bleach that doesn't damage or harm tissue. It comes down to a chemical technology that I have no knowledge of, but hope this helps in some way in your complete search. I like reading blogs of other users.

Answer:	Yes it definitely can. One 4 oz bottles mixes into a 32 oz spray bottle. So just pour in the bottle and add water. Then you can spray it on furniture!

Answer:	A spray gel. It sprays but not like an aerosol.

Answer:	I am not a vet. I use this on my cat's face acne several times a day. If anything this would be a preventive measure prior to the stage your cat is at. If the gums are inflamed, this is the first step to tooth lose. I would consult a vet.
Question:	How far apart should I put 2 of these house if used for morning doves
Answer:	You need to find out from your vet if the wound should be covered,different types of wounds need air others need to be covered. This product is exceptional,your cat can lick it without doing any harm like getting sick from the product,,but again,you need to check because your vet may not want the wound disturbed by constant licking as only cats can do. My baby,had a cancerous lesion that was removed and we used this product after surgery. It was wonderful! I loved the fact it was a gel and adhered to the wound unlike a cream that gets so messy.

Answer:	I am a man and have been wearing these every day for almost a year. They are much more comfortable than tighty whities and softer. They look unisex, so why not wear them? Mounting your house

Since bluebird houses can be mounted in a couple different ways which require different hardware, no mounting hardware is included with this house so that customers can better customize their installation.

Bluebird houses can be mounted on a metal pipe/pole using pipe clamps (our preferred method), which you should be able to find at your local hardware, plumbing, or fencing store. The pipe clamps should be attached above and below the nesting chamber of the house.

The bluebird house can be mounted directly to a 4x4 post, wooden fence post, or tree by screwing through the back board above and below the nest chamber of the bluebird house with screws at least 1/2" longer than the depth of the board, or by screwing through the bottom of the house into the top of a 4x4 post. Be aware that these mounting methods do allow predators easy access to disturb the nest box.

In any mounting method, the bottom of the house should be 4-6 feet above the ground with the entrance facing south/southeast in a clearing with tall grasses or shrubbery 8-12 feet away.

Answer:	It frightened away all birds from my young orange tree except for woodpeckers. They are fearless little buggers and they managed to peck quite a few oranges. If you have a lot of fruit to protect, I would suggest a net. Otherwise the tape works great but you have to hang a lot of it,

Answer:	We use red and silver, works well for us, when we order again we may change just not to let them get use to one or the other.
Question:	I have a long (300 feet) wooden fence. The top is flat, and squirrels use it as a "runway" (which drives my dog crazy). How can I stop them
Answer:	No it is not sticky it is like a plastic ribbon you take it off the roll like crape paper for party decorations so it twists. When it is hung above your garden the wind makes it move the birds don't like the motion, it can be disorienting. It is not strong so a hard winds for a long time can break it up. I just rehang it.
