Question:	How well does this ukuele stay in tune
Answer:	We were prepared to tune this new ukulele for at least a week or so until the strings settled. Most of strings stayed in tune almost perfectly after a few tunings. The E string is the only one that resisted for several days, and now the strings only need slight fine tuning!
Question:	Does the tenor have a low g by default? i thought all tenors had low g, but in mine, the c string is thickest not the g
Answer:	I believe the higher G is default but it can be restrung with the lower G string.

It's just a sticker on the back, so it is easily removable and doesn't leave any mark on the ukulele. Once you attach and detach the pick holder, the sticker loses its effect. If you want a low G string, you need to purchase a low G string separately and replace that yourself. It's not hard to do, pretty simple. There's youtube videos on how to change strings. Answer:	All ukuleles are small, and if you have larger hands, you might find the short scale of a soprano to be cramped. No ukulele could be called "too big", so try to find a shop that has all four sizes and decide which is most comfortable for you. The tenor is easy to play and has more depth and "punch", but the little soprano wins on charm.
Question:	many reviews mention instrument not holding tune. is this due to poor tuners, or just string stretch that occurs on any instrument
Answer:	Read the reviews. My wife loves hers. Mine developed a crack in the top within two weeks of owning it and I returned and swapped for a Kala KA-S. I think that my wife's less expensive Kala KA-15S has a nicer tone than mine. But yes, it's good quality. It's made of lovely wood too. A very beautiful little instrument. I recommend buying from Amazon and saving the shipping materials until you're sure you love it. Returns are free on Amazon...for a time. :)
Question:	Is the ukulele that comes with the starter kit the ka-15s because it says ltp-s on the inside of the instrument
Answer:	That's how ukuleles are suppose to be strung traditionally. Its called re-entrant and a few other stringed instruments do this as well. And most teaching material is for ukes strung that way. Don't rearrange the strings or it will be impossible to use chord the standard chord fingerings. If you want linear tuning (like on guitar) you have to by strings that say "low g" on the package. That way the finger patterns still work. But I wouldn't do this if I were a beginner because it will sound less like a traditional ukulele if you did that. Some people do that but those people are purposefully trying to create a unique sound, and they usually do it on a tenor ukulele, not soprano.
Question:	can strings be replaced when they break by standard strings
Answer:	I got one for me and my sister. Most low cost ukuleles are unplayable until you have them set up and restrung with better quality strings. Not this one. It comes ready to play out of the box, it just takes a couple weeks until the strings don't fall out of tune, but that's true of all nylon strings.

Question:	Can this be plugged directly into a soundboard? Or can it only be plugged into an amp
Answer:	That depends on what you mean by a soundboard. If you have an audio interface like the new SSL2 or something similar which has what is called a DI (direct in) then yes. Almost all current interfaces have built in pre-amps and allow you to plug in an instrument directly. If you mean a mixer for live sound, it completely depends on the mixer. Some soundboards have pre-amps built-in and some don't--there is a very wide range of products out there so you'll need to check. Most of the time in live sound or studio work you need a DI box to go any distance and port to mic cables without losing signal.

Answer:	Hi There, Thanks for contacting us. This is Natadel from Lohanu Ukulele. Adjusting the internal tuner is just the same as adjusting the clip on tuner. There are some Lohanu videos and one on how to tune your ukulele (it'll be the same whether you have a soprano, concert or tenor). There are different modes and the ones you should use are the Uc (ukulele) mode or the C (chromatic) mode. Can you just toggle between the different modes by pressing the button a few times? And try the C (chromatic mode) as well. Chromatic mode is just a tuner for any instrument and also for any note too so a little more versatile than the Uc mode which is only for tuning the open strings of the ukulele. Each of the string notes should be as follows: 4. Top string (this is traditionally called the 4th string. Some people mistakenly believe it as the 1st string) - G (when tuner is green) 3. 2nd from top string (called the 3rd string) - C (when tuner is green) 2. 2nd from bottom string (called the 2nd string) - E (when tuner is green) 1. Bottom string (called the 1st string. Some people mistakenly believe it as the 4tth string) - A (when tuner is green) To open the battery port, there is a clip that you need to push towards the hole. Answer:	The one I ordered (with accessories) did not come with batteries. I saw in the comments someone said yes, but a review of the materials included does not list batteries. So the question remains, "are batteries included?"

A tip for tuning your new Ukulele:

Are you finding your new ukulele always needs tuning every time you want to play it?

This is really common, particularly with new strings. Nylon strings take a certain amount of stretching before they settle down and hold their tune.

How to solve:Tune it to the desired note, then pull up on the string over the sound hole to give it a bit of a stretch. That'll take it down about 2 whole notes, tune it back up and repeat until it stays in tune. A lot of folks who maybe aren't used to stringed instruments, especially nylon strings, get frustrated, but don't worry, these are decent strings, they just need a good stretch!

Question:	Does ukulele have aquila strings
Answer:	Please be very careful if you use the regular guitar picks they include with this bundle. If not careful, using them can scratch up the surface of the ukulele. I just put my set of regular guitar picks that came with this in my acoustic guitar case. They do make felt picks to use with a ukulele. I'm not sure why the company didn't just include one or two of those instead. They could have done away with including actual guitar picks with this and put something that was used properly with a ukulele like felt picks but I don't even see anyone using any picks with a ukulele. What they could have done was use felt ukulele picks with the included accessories or not include any picks and put an actual ukulele capo in with it. The guitar picks are not intended for the ukulele. Not normally, anyway. A capo would have made this deal even sweeter. Things they could have included with this bundle INSTEAD OF regular hard plastic guitar picks not intended for a ukulele would be: String winder (used for restringing/changing the strings - it goes over the tuners to wind them or unwind them faster, by hand) Capo - one made specifically for a ukulele and not a regular guitar Felt Picks (even though I've never seen any ukulele player use any picks)

Answer:	If you are tiny and want a uke the size of a toy, buy a soprano size. This concert size Donner is the perfect size. Not a toy at all. I do not understand how anyone with normal sized hands could even play a soprano uke because the strings and frets would be so close together. Also the sound of this concert size Donner is beautiful, not tinny, because it is a little bigger. This concert size is still small, still sounds like a uke, but more what I, as a 5' 5" 120 pound woman would consider a comfortable fit and perfect size for a uke. You will love the sound. I also have a Kala baritone uke tuned like a guitar. It does not sound like a teeny, tinny uke. But the metal frets on it cut my hands. This Donner is much better finished and they look very much alike as far as the wood. This Donner is beautiful in every way. You will love it. Have fun. Enjoy. Answer:	HECK NO! You'll want a baritone uke at least! A little more seriously, baritone ukes are tuned D-G-B-E (like 4 strings of a guitar) instead of usual uke G-C-E-A. It's a good thing to know if you're coming from a guitar background. Less seriously, ONLY an electric bass can Djent! I'm afraid you are djentless, my friend.

Question:	is this ukulele bigger than most soprano ukuleles? it says it is 32 inches that seems big
Answer:	This one has 17 frets so the neck is a tiny bit longer than some sopranos but it isn't much bigger. The body is a normal soprano size. I'm basing this on my other sopranos. Hope this is helpful to you.
Question:	I got this today but it is easily out of tuned (every hour). Is this normal for a new instrument
Answer:	Yes, this is normal. It takes time for new strings to stretch out. This happens any time you change strings and it's true for guitars, ukes, basses etc... If you are careful and don't just yank or rip at them, you can lightly pull each individual string up to help break it in quicker by laying the uke on your lap or on a table with the strings up and put your finder under he drying about half way between the top of the neck and the bottom and just pull up on the string and hold it for about 10-30 seconds. Don't pull pull until it feels like it will snap just tug a little depending on the which string. The thick strings you might be able to pull a half inch and the thinner strings maybe a quarter inch do this for each string a couple times. Re-tune all the strings and do this 3 or four times and you should notice it going out of fine less and less each time. After a few times just start playing it and you will notice that it stays in tune much better. After a few days if playing, the neck and strings should be fully broken in and you should be able to go anyway where between a few days and weeks without really needing to tune it again (more or less time depending on how often you play it and how hard you strum)
Question:	im wanting to buy this for my husband who is left handed. has anyone had success with this particular ukulele switching strings
Answer:	For the soprano, concert, tenor and even for many of the baritones it is not necessary for a left handed person to do any adjustments. This is what you do: 1. Buy ukulele. 2. Take strings off (most ukuleles that you purchase will be set up for the right handed person.) 3. Flip the ukulele around. 4. Put new strings on.
