The height of the strings is set for the desired/proper action (ease of playing vs. string/fret buzz, etc.) The bridge should be reviewed for possible replacement for the same/similar reasons. Intonation is related matter that may be addressed by the nut/bridge configuration. I will not address for this particular instrument. |

The reason being that the action is a bit high and not adjustable. For a first acoustic I’d go with an Epiphone; get a resonator later after cutting your teeth on that. |
