Question:	I bought these acoustic foam panels and they are compressed, how can I make it recover faster
Answer:	i’ve been having a bunch of trouble getting them up going through rolls of tape😂 I used command strips and some fell down but there’s a lot up still, when I put them up with command strips I did it very lazy cus i'm impatient so if you press down for 30 seconds on it when you hang it up that could work. If not that I’m gonna try adhesive spray or thumb tacks that should work for sure, and if you went that route you could use poster boards if you dont wanna risk damaging your walls.

Answer:	To anyone else - don't put them in water! Don't ever let them touch water! Do you want mold? This is how you get mold. Just leave them out for a few days, most places advertise 24-48 hours. I didn't buy these specifically, but been doing a bunch of research after getting another brand's 2x12x12 12 pack a while ago which were not compressed. I paid 60, and not wanting to do the same for the next 48 panels, been scouring the interwebs for the difference between compressed/uncompressed. As far as I can tell the quality is comparable, but you have that danger of mold if you use water to re-expand them, or you just gotta wait a couple days between delivery and installation.

Answer:	"Will these work for reducing sound coming from upstairs neighbors apartment?" ( Answer... work's two ways. For me, and for the neighbors.
Question:	Do these foams help absorb sound? I am a gamer and can be very loud. I want to prevent the neighbors from hearing my game sound from the ceiling
Answer:	Personally I think it all depends on the surface of application. But I have a mid sized audio studio and the walls are painted and made of drywall so alleviate parts of the foam being stuck to the wall should I need to remove or relocate it; I use very small black finish nails and place one in each corner of the foam. It does the same job as an adhesive if applied properly without the sticky residue left on my walls. Additionally, the foam won't come down unless I manually remove it and should I ever decide to remove any or all areas of the foam from my walls; the most I have to repair are very small holes to repaint. I don't personally think it requires that much more work to use finishing nails as opposed to adhesives except you eliminate the hammer from the equation. But the benefit outweighs the labor for me because I can safely remove the foam whenever I'd like with no damage to the foam (so it's reusable) and extremely minimal damage to the wall area. When using adhesives, the sticky adhesive remains on the wall and if you remove the foam from the wall; there is good chance that parts of the foam will be torn off onto the wall. If you're attaching the foam to non-porous areas such as metal doors; then the adhesive would obviously be the better way to go as opposed to poster strips. I have a metal door and have used 3M Super 77 adhesive and it works great if you follow the instructions properly. But I've had pieces that I've noted after applying that didn't close seamlessly with another and when I attempted to remove and reposition the piece, part of the foam was left on the door. I can't say I've ever attempted using poster strips but I think the adhesive is much stronger and if not applied properly allowing adequate time to dry, the foam won't stick to the surface very long. So it all comes to a matter of preference.

Answer:	This probably won’t help too much with that. This is more for suppressing the echo effect from an untreated room. Mostly for recording and streaming with a mic.
Question:	Will these help reduce washer and dryer noise in a closet off of kitchen with bi-fold doors
Answer:	It should. If the window is covered completely. However I use 2 layers of blackout curtains for that. With the curtains rods installed higher and wider than i really need. But my traffic noise may not be as severe as yours. I use the panels behind my son's TV to dampen the sound.
Question:	I have a loud neighbor. Can I put this mat on my wall to isolate some sound from his side? Thanks
Answer:	Hello, it's not included Double sided tape, you can apply them to a wall or ceiling by foam panel tape, which can be easily found on Amazon, thank you.
Question:	Will this foam cancel the noise of a person chewing ice in an adjacent cubicle
Answer:	For a regular room door about 15 panels. For the room it all depends on the length and height of wall. The whole wall should be covered to affective, single layer.

Question:	Are they good for inside a door on water closet
Answer:	Hello Patricia, Yes these acoustic foam tiles will help absorb noise from your washer and dryer in the closet. Mount the foam inside of the closet on the walls around the machines and on the inside of the doors if possible. This will not stop the noise completely but will reduce it some. Doors can be kind of tricky, especially bi-fold doors. Even the slightest crack will let the noise through. The foam will be absorbing some sound waves, but other sound will be coming through cracks. Weatherstrips work well for sealing gaps if you do have them. Duck brand makes a good weatherstripping product, and is available on Amazon. Answer:	Zheng, Thank you so much for reaching out. Acoustic foam panels are designed to absorb sound waves in the room in which they are placed. They could help reduce noise coming from a neighbor, but will not block the noise completely. If you place the foam on your side of the wall the foam will absorb some of the noise and vibrations, but not everything. It might muffle the noise a bit... Answer:	Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. These acoustic panels will not work to solve your problem. Unless you build a box around your co-worker and line the inside with acoustic foam :) ... The problem you have is that sound needs isolated in order to be blocked. The nature of cubicles allows noise to flow freely even if you did have sound absorption panels. Anywhere that air will flow through the sound will flow through as well... Answer:	I do not think this will help. We have my son's gaming area lined with these and can still hear things pretty clearly outside of that. Furthermore, after I left a fair review, this company continues to e-mail me nearly weekly asking for me to take my review down in return for compensation.
