13 best bass guitar wireless

Wireless systems for bass guitars have become increasingly popular among musicians, providing greater freedom of movement on stage without being tethered by cables. These systems typically consist of a transmitter and a receiver, allowing the bass guitar signal to be transmitted wirelessly to an amplifier or sound system. Here is some information about wireless bass guitar systems and related equipment:

  1. Wireless Microphone Transmitters and Receivers:

    • Bass guitar wireless systems often use similar technology to wireless microphones. These systems consist of a transmitter, which connects to the bass guitar, and a receiver, which connects to an amplifier or mixer.
    • The transmitter converts the bass guitar's signal into a radio frequency (RF) signal, which is then transmitted wirelessly to the receiver.
    • The receiver decodes the RF signal back into an audio signal that can be sent to an amplifier or mixing console.
  2. Wireless Microphone Systems:

    • While primarily designed for vocals, wireless microphone systems can also be adapted for use with bass guitars. They offer similar features and benefits, such as mobility and reduced cable clutter.
    • These systems often operate in various frequency bands to avoid interference and offer different channel options for multiple instruments or microphones to be used simultaneously.
  3. Microphones:

    • Microphones are not typically used directly with bass guitars, as bass guitar pickups generate a low-level signal that requires specialized equipment for amplification.
    • However, microphones can be used to capture the sound of an acoustic bass guitar or to mic a bass amp cabinet for recording purposes.
  4. Microphone Accessories:

    • Microphone accessories like stands, cables, and pop filters are important for ensuring a smooth performance when using microphones. While these accessories are not directly related to wireless bass guitar systems, they are essential for sound reinforcement and recording.
  5. Musical Instruments:

    • Bass guitars come in various types, including electric basses, acoustic basses, and upright basses. Wireless systems can be used with electric basses for live performances to eliminate the need for cables.
    • Acoustic basses can also benefit from wireless systems for live amplification, as they don't have built-in pickups like electric basses.

In summary, wireless systems for bass guitars provide musicians with the flexibility to move around the stage without being hindered by cables. These systems are similar to wireless microphone systems and consist of transmitters and receivers. While microphones are not typically used directly with bass guitars, they are relevant for capturing the sound of acoustic bass guitars or amplifying bass amp cabinets for recording purposes. Various accessories and musical instruments, such as electric and acoustic basses, are part of the broader ecosystem related to wireless bass guitar systems.

User questions & answers

Question: Will this transmitter fit into the surface plug on an Ibanez SR
Answer: It also work with a 9V battery , Model: 6F22
Question: Does it have a headphone jack so that it can be used without an amp for practice
Answer: With guitars this short, you're better off tuning it higher. It'll maintain string tension better from my understanding. I think it's usually a fourth higher. Like having a capo at the 5th fret of a standard guitar. So the 1 and 6 strings are tuned to A rather than E.
Question: Would two sets of these work for a guitar>pedal board> amp? To make a fully wire less rig
Answer: Depends on his height. If he’s a bit small or standard height for his age, it will be great. If he’s big for his age, it might be s gamble.
Question: How natural does this sound on a fine acoustic guitar using a piezzo/preamped pickup like fishman or lr baggs
Answer: It dose not have a truss rod

User questions & answers

Question: can these be used in tandem with another set as in one transmitter guitar 2 foot pedal receiver out foot pedal transmitter to amplifier receiver
Answer: no
Question: How long does it take to charge and then how long does the battery last for? I read it's 5 hours one place and 7 hours somewhere else
Answer: I play an Ibanez 5 string bass. When the transmitter stays in place and you find the sweet spot of plugging it into the guitar, it works fine. The problem I am having is mainly caused by gravity and the plug not fitting overly tight to keep the transmitter in place. When you move around, the transmitter can loose good connection. Other than that, for the money, it is a decent piece of equipment. More in the prosumer category.
Question: it says "not fit for active pickup" does that mean it only works with passive pockups? why would that matter
Answer: Anything you would normally plug in with your cable this is the replacement to make it wireless.
Question: Will these help me convince my wife I need another bass
Answer: I just plug the usb mini into it and it charges up. Pretty simple. Plug n play

They will work perfectly - I have an acoustic/electric Ovation and the sound reproduction is excellent - great product and well worth the money, which isn't much at all - go for it, you won't be sorry. I even use them with my Alesis electronic drum kit with no issues at all.
Question: What is the battery stand by life ? If I have a full charge and use 30 min can I use an hour a week later without recharging
Answer: I use a single port, 110 volt USB charger. It plugs into a receptacle and the double headed USB cable that comes with the units plugs into that single port.
Question: What is the warranty for this product
Answer: From my experience, the signal appears the same as from a cable. I don’t notice any real difference, one way or the other.
Question: Taylor gs mini with gs mini pickup - will this work with this set-up
Answer: I plug it into a normal 110 outlet with a usb and adapter. I just leave it for several hours.

User questions & answers

Question: Have you ever noticed a bit of static/ noise that fades when you first strike a note after a few moments of silence
Answer: If Ibanez SR300 has 6.35mm jack, our GWS-8 guitar wireless can be applied to this guitar!Thank you for supporting our wireless guitar!
Question: This wireless guitar systems sometimes makes strange noises while in use
Answer: Dear Freind, Thank you for your friendly inquiry about Getaria wireless guitar system. What a shame! There is no 3.5 audio jack on the wireless guitar transmitter side, so you can't plug any headphone jack into the Getaria wireless guitar system, we suggest you a set of Getaria wireless guitar transmitter and receiver in this situation.
Question: I found my wireless guitar systems cannot be charged properly
Answer: Yes, this will work. You can put a pair of these anywhere you would use a signal cable. I chained 3 pair to see if they would flake out and they did fine. Pair the one from the guitar to the pedal board, then pair the one from the pedal board to the amp. You can also pair the one from the pedal board to the amp and a third from the amp line out to the mixer. Granted this is not how you would usually go from the amp to the mixer, but it works. Do not plug it into anything that would normally take a speaker wire. That will fry it as there is amperage on the line.
Question: Can 2 transmitters send to one receiver
Answer: I play nylon guitars exclusively...my best is a Amin Hannika Torres with no amplification, so I use that as a standard. I have a Gary Zimnicki with a non-amplified piezo that goes direct to my AER60. It sounds the same whether I use a high quality cable of the Getaria in a concert/club setting; in the studio there is a slight drop-off that most listeners could not discern. I also use a 2002 Ramirez a/e with a Fishman preamp and piezo (i never use the microphone component); I cannot tell the difference between cable or Getaria mainly because the preamp changes the clear acoustic quality - not bad or good, just not like an unamplified guitar. As an aside, I have a Taylor with espresso system, an L5 that I put P90s on, and a 5620 Gretsch with black top histones, and on all of them the Gertaria is great, no hum, no noise, no interference. But the big thing for me in all settings - live, studio, rehearse, practice - is have NO cord to tangle, step on or buzz. I don't give recommendations, but I bought 2 sets of these to have while one is charging, and will buy them again if these break. I've used them for about 4 months.

User questions & answers

Question: Wireless pairing does not work. Following instructions. Please advise
Answer: Works great on my Strat! You can even plug it into a small speaker instead of headphones and have a small amp for practice.Daniel
Question: Are the batteries serviceable or user replaceable
Answer: No, it doesn't. It does have an aux in so if you have backing tracks on another device you can play those through it.
Question: The picture says 750 millisecond response time, which seems like a huge delay. Is it really that long between strum & sound
Answer: It should work just fine. The Guitar plug is a bit heavy on the high end, but you should be able to get some good tones from a bass. You can also plug your bass into another pedal before hooking this into that pedals output to give yourself even more options.
Question: How is the latency? I added a transmitter to a pocket amp & used Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to a speaker & found noticeable lag- would this be better
Answer: No I'm sorry, but it wont work that way. You could use a "Y" cable out of your guitar, to feed both your amp and the NUX, but you might suffer some level decrease due to the impedance mismatch. I wouldn't "Y" the headphone output. If you do, the level would likely overdrive your amp's input stage. This is really designed to use in your hotel room where an amp would disturb the neighbors! LOL

Answer: Never had a problem like that with my set. Maybe send it back for a replacement?
Question: How's the battery life after using this regularly for several months? Any idea if the rechargable battery is replaceable? Thank you
Answer: There can be strong electromagnetic interference.too far transmission distance, too many transmission obstacles,so most communications are lost. You can try keep the transmission distance as short as possible.
Question: Does this work with active bass pickups
Answer: Thank you so much for your inquiry about Getaria guitar wireless guitar system. User questions & answers

Question: Can this system be used with a guitar and bass at the same time
Answer: The transmitter has only one input/output. So it cannot be used on two instruments at the same time. It can be switched between two instruments very quickly with no "setup" required other than plugging the receiver into the correct amp. Also, as the unit transmits on only one channel, trying to "mix" two instruments would be less than ideal. You could (I'll muddy this up real good now) plug a bass and guitar into a mixer and transmit from a sub out and use the mono mixed signal thru the single channel. Doing so would require enough sound equipment on the reciever to sort out the bass thru a crossover or whatever. This would defeat the purpose of a wireless system...IMHO. My recommendation: buy two units. You'll like the unit.
Question: Does it work with guitar active pickups
Answer: It does. It works with active or passive. Also works well with bass or guitar. Works with 'fex. Develop good battery schedule for the transmitter and you'll love it! When the transmitter (instrument unit) batteries die, it does so quickly and without warning. That said, it isn't battery hungry. Battery life is quite acceptable and the batteries are easy to change.
Question: Can you use it with in ear monitors
Answer: Yes but you need a separate receiver and transmitter for your in ear monitors.
Question: will this do mic and instrument at the same time
Answer: No I do. It believe this will a mic and instrument at the same time. There is only one channel output
