Answer:	Hi Debbie, Thank you for your interest in this product. This is a 2 ch set. You could get multiple mics on the same channel. There are ch B&D and ch P&R. Your mics have to match the base, though. So you could have 2 Bs and 2 Ds or 2 Ps and 2 Rs. But the 2 would only have one volume knob to control each set. If you need 4 separate channels, each with individual control, then yes, you need a B&D ch with a B&D base and P&R ch with a P&R base.In short YES you could use both you will just have to make sure that the mic's are paired to the right receiver. Another option would be to purchase a USB audio interface, USB 1/4-inch adapter, or USB audio mixer. These dedicated options would provide much better control and stability than most on-board or stock 'add-on' computer sound cards.

Quick troubleshooting guide:

1) This is a VHF RF dual wireless system so if they experience interference, it can be because of the RF environment. VHF signals are more susceptible to interference than UHF. We suggest that users check that there are no radio transmitters, or any wireless systems in the same location that have frequencies that are very close to each other.

2) Sometimes users forget to turn off wireless transmitters when they are not being used. The next time they use it, it may still be working, but will die during use. Also make sure that the battery is in the proper polarity. When you turn on the microphone, the light briefly flashes.

3) This is a dual microphone system and each channel has its own volume control at the front panel. The two volume knobs should be adjusted accordingly.

4) When hooking up the receiver to the amplifier or mixer, make sure that the patch cord is hooked up from the output of the receiver to the line input of the amplifier. The amplifier/mixer will also have its own control, so this should also be checked. The antennas should be extended.

Answer:	This receiver/transmitter needs to be hooked up to an amplifier. The wireless mics send a signal to the receiver/transmitter, which is connected via 1/4" plug in connector. If you want to just transmit thru a radio, there are wireless mics out there that connect thru an fm frequency, but quality is poor. If you go to your local radio shack or music store, someone will be able to show you how the mics hook up.

I did find I have to have the volume maxed out on the microphone transmitter itself as its sensitivity and the aux input are not the same.

Do I need Band A or Band B? The U-1100 and U-2100 systems operate in the UHF range using one or two banks of 100 channels: Band A: 480-504.75 MHz or Band B: 505-529.75 MHz A band A transmitter can only work with a band A receiver (either a U-1100 Band A receiver or channel#1 of any U-2100 receiver) A band B transmitter can only work with a band B receiver (either a U-1100 Band B receiver or channel#2 of any U-2100 receiver)

Here is how to determine the operating band of a system component:

A U-1100 receiver can either be Band A or Band B. To find out which band your receiver is operating on, look at the label at the bottom of the receiver. A U-2100 dual channel receiver is always Band A on channel 1 and band B on channel 2, so there is only one kind of receiver. The W-1KU Series systems operate in the UHF range using one of three banks containing 1000 channels:
