Answer:	This unit has four 1/4 inch mono/stereo inputs and one 1/4 inch stereo output. It does NOT have phantom power. There is a pre-amp in the unit that will power a headset or connect to an external amplifier. If your mics have 1/4 inch plugs, your set-up should work OK without additional equipment. If your mics have three-prong plugs, you might want to find a mixer that does have phantom power on at least two of the inputs (but not all). That would accommodate both instrument and vocal without more equipment or connections (which is why there are contrary remarks). Hope this helps.

Description of RPM1470 : The Rockville RPM1470 is a 14-channel powered console mixer with USB input and Bluetooth. There were a few goals we had when designing this mixer. The first one was it had to have the clearest sound quality with the best quality mica preamps. We manufactured this mixer with XDR2 low noise mica preamps. These are some of the best sounding mica pore's on the market. They compete in quality with any brand on the market! The next goal we had was versatility. Answer:	go with the RBG18Fa. the 18s cant put out anywhere near its "rated" power. look at an image of the plate amplifier on the back. the 18s only has a 5A fuse, which means it can pull about 1/3 of the power that the FA can. the FA has a 15A fuse, which equals out to ~16-1700 absolute maximum watts, while the 15S can pull an absolute max of ~600 watts before the fuse blows.

Any 'horn' shape, which gradually expands from a small inlet to a large opening, will act as a physical amplifier for sounds applied to the smaller end. Answer:	I took it to the park by me where there are two basketball courts and I could hear it all the way across both basketball courts when it was only set a volume of 28. That is a pretty powerful speaker if you ask me. I then took it over by the baseball fields and turned it up to a power volume of 40 and it was able to hear it across both baseball fields. I don’t think you’ll have any problem at baseball games.
