Question:	Are there still issues, as described from other users, with using this device with Windows 10 (64bit) drivers? Are the problems resolved
Answer:	I've been running the gen1 device on windows 10 64-bit for over a year with no problems. That is until recently when the Windows 10 Creator Update installed. Then mixcontrol would just not connect to the 6i6. Gen 2 uses a different interface, so maybe, but I would expect it to be fine otherwise.

Answer:	Yes, it does.
Question:	Can it be used with out a computer
Answer:	It comes with a code so you can download Ableton Live Lite from the Ableton website for free.
Question:	Does the unit com with Rack Ears
Answer:	Not directly, because this mixer is not designed as a general purpose mixer. It's designed around consolidating and controlling electronic instruments. As such, it expects all the 1/4" inputs to provide a "line level" signal. Microphones provide a much lower signal level, which means they do not have enough signal strength for the mixer to "notice" it. A microphone will need a preamp to bring it to line level. (Additionally, condenser mics will need the preamp to provide phantom power.) The preamp's output can then be connected to the Roland MX-1 and you could then expect it to handle the microphone as any other input.
Question:	The roland website says the it's windows drivers support up to 8. Do the asio drivers function well on windows
Answer:	I can’t answer that, but I can say that you are correct. This is not a synth but a mixer with built in features that make it more performance oriented than a standard mixer. It is designed specifically to work with the other Roland Aira products through usb midi and audio connections. TableTop Mixer yes. A Tabletop synth, not at all.

Question:	It appears that phantom power gets switched on all 4 mic pres simultaneously. Can I use dynamic & condenser mics together without causing damage
Answer:	Because the one in the front is NOT powered. The rear inputs can power mics or active pickups, up to 48v. I run 9v batteries in all my active guitars, so they're already powered, so I just run all my guitars into the front input. If I'm recording my 4x12 cab, I use the XLR in the back with my SM57.
Question:	will this power a microphone that requires phantom power? sorry if this is a dumb question, im new to XLR microphones
Answer:	Your question has me curious. The data speed for this device will not get close to the rates requiring a cable with the thunderbolt 3 type throughout. The audio stream will get there just as fast with their stock cable and with a reasonably priced ($6-10) usb type c cable. The nicer cables are more about throughput than latency.

Answer:	Audio is routed from the computer through USB-C to Evo. There are two 1/4” outputs on the back of the Evo to plug into speakers.

Answer:	My interface remembers its gain settings when rebooting. Both when I power cycle the unit and when my computer power cycles. Make sure you download the most up to date drivers for it.

Answer:	This does NOT have traditional phantom power, which is normally 48v for condenser microphones. Their website says “18v phantom power,” and I don't know of any condenser mic that uses 18v.

Answer:	Yes you can. Their is a "Line In" (1/4" jack) to accomplish this connection. You also (as on many audio device) will need to select "LINE" on the Input Channel (#1) which allows the device to format to the instrument Input Level. I have used this to record into my Computer Audio Software.
Question:	Will this act as a digital to analog converter for my studio monitors
Answer:	Actually I think it will, if you mean that you want to use it as an audio interface with your computer

I have an iphone SE 2nd gen with no headphone jack and I use the lightning/headphone adapter to plug the Saramonic Smartrig into my iPhone to use with a recording an app I downloaded from Apple. I've also used this setup to record video with the iPhone. Since the Saramonic Smartrig has a gain control - it greatly improved the audio on our videos. I was also able to improve audio on zoom calls by using a shotgun mic which required phantom power. It's quite versatile.

Answer:	If you have a headset/mic with a single combo 3.5 mm male connector you should be able to use a headphone splitter, 3.5 mm female combo to dual male 3.5 mm headphone and mic connectors.

Answer:	I believe that even if a laptop/PC did have a built-in sound card, this wouldn't use it since sound cards don't accept USB input. It would connect directly to the motherboard, eliminating the need for the sound card in the first place. I am not exactly sure about this information, but this is what makes sense to me.

But you can do what you want with only one unit by using a microphone splitter to attach to the (RED) hole and connect the other end to the two microphones.
