Question:	Is this designed exclusively for vocals or would it work as well with acoustic guitar or mandolin
Answer:	It could be used on a number of acoustic isolation applications. So yes it will work well. Had mine for over a year and it still Holds up!
Question:	Will is work for a blue yeti
Answer:	Blue yeti is a USB mic. I have seen boom stand sold with blue yeti, but I've never seen one connected to a boom stand. I would say the answer to your question is no. The acoustic- shield does work great on recordings I've done. On a regular mic stand and xlr mic's.
Question:	how does this compare to an actual studio
Answer:	it does an OK job reducing ambient noise in a room, and making the recorded voice sound more focused. It is a far cry from an actual studio. (which also normally comes with a professional audio engineer)
Question:	Can this thing sit easily on a desktop for use without a full sized mic stand
Answer:	The dimensions: 18" wide, 12" deep, 12" tall. I no longer have a desktop mic stand; otherwise, I'd try it. I can say that it is quite sizable. The components that come along with it add weight to the shield. This could make it top heavy. I would recommend you put a box that has similar dimensions on your desk to see if it would obscure the screen or hinder you. If not, go for it, because it is a cool addition to any home recording arsenal. I use an AKG Perception 420. It fits, but I would prefer the mic to sit lower for more shielding. Hope this helped.

Answer:	Yes, you will want to use a software like Skype or Google Voice. You can connect the headphone output of your computer to one of the H5 inputs.
Question:	If this unit is powered off and a USB cable is connected to a computer does it automatically turn on or will it stay off
Answer:	It will automatically turn on with the option to select its use as an interface or storage device...hope this helps.
Question:	Is the battery life significantly improved over the H4N? I like my H4N, but it's terrrible on phantom power for battery life
Answer:	I can't compare it to the H4n. I got about 8-10 hours on the h5 using alkalines and phantom being on for nearly all of that time. It gives very little warning when the batteries are about to go.
Question:	Judging from the pictures it looks to be made of plastic. Is this fragile or robust
Answer:	It does not have a plastic feel. If you have ever held an H4n than this will feel somewhat the same. The H5 has a slim, but sturdy feel. It's not the kind of item that would break easily. The thing with the H5 is that it is so cool looking that you're always worrying about getting a single scratch on it. Fortunately, the rubber like exterior seems to handle scratches pretty well. Highly recommend that you get a screen protector as soon as you take it out of the box. I've held both the H5 and H6 and while the H6 feels slightly heavier and more professional with all the knobs, nice looking finish and a great color screen. The H5 feels lighter, has great build quality and you are more likely to use it because it light enough to mount on a rig or carry around... Without the fear of it breaking. I've bumped it on a few corners with my rig and it has held up pretty well. The only thing that feels like plastic are the adapters, but that applies to both the H5 and H6.Hope that helps.

Answer:	This shock mount is designed for use with the GXL3000, GXL2400, and GXL2200 microphones. I don't believe it will work with the CAD U37.
Question:	What thread size would I need for the shockmount to fit on a Neewer nb-35 arm stand
Answer:	Both should be industry standard and match each other.

Question:	How affected is the overall audio if more than one person is using this singular microphone
Answer:	Assuming you want equal responsivity from multiple users, arrange people in cardiod pattern directing voice into the microphone. The sensitivity is excellent on mic so you can be a few feet away and still have good signal to noise ratio.
Question:	Is there any shock mount that will fit this mic? If so, which ones
Answer:	I have mounted this mic with a Samson SP01 Shockmount Spider Mount for Condenser Mics. It fits and works quite nicely.
Question:	can i use it with windows
Answer:	Yes. I just plugged it in and it is working with Windows 8 almost perfectly.For some reason. Windows 8 also thinks it's a speaker (output) device. And so a quick setting change in the control panel to set my normal speakers to "Default" and everything is perfect now.
Question:	Does it come with the stand
Answer:	This product does contain one (1) tripod stand. Works nicely, excellent for desktop recording, but a new stand would be nice for anything else.

Answer:	tge condenser mic's are very strong and will pick up all your cymbals except the high hat

Question:	Exactly what kind of cables do you need to buy to plug these mics into a mixer or audio interface device
Answer:	Whether or not your mixer has built in effects (FX) or not would be a determining factor of whether you'd want to run directly into the mixer or not. If your mixer does not have FX buying those would be your next step. If your mixer does have FX you should add some amount of compression and a noise gate to each drum. You will want to EQ each drum individually (every room is different for getting a good mix. And mic placement, even if different by only an inch plays a big role in the final product, so play with mic placement). I will generally pan each channel slightly left or right depending on which side of the drumset the mic is on, that way you get a more true stereo sound in the room. Purchasing something like "Moon Gel" or "Drum Dots" is a must; the toms will have natural over tone and placing the gel in different positions on the head can really help make the toms punch. Really dial in the EQ on the pair of overhead mics, that's where alot of your sound is going to come from (especially for getting cymbals into the mix). There's lots more you can do to alter the sound with different FXs in order to make it sound good, but that's just a list of some basic things I normally do. Micing and mixing drums can be a daunting task, but just like playing an instrument, practice makes perfect.

Answer:	Mines laminate without a problem. I have a Marigold laminator and I slide them side ways. I place the small side first because I believe if o so it the other way around it might jamm. Try to slide them with the small thiner side first. Hope it helps!
