User questions & answers
Question: | Does this set allow me to host a podcast with 3 people (myself and 2 guests)? I will have 3 xlr mics, but am wondering if they will all be able toplug |
Answer: | I put my 25lb dog on 2 small flannel blankets in the basket to take to the park. He loves it! I would say that more than 40lbs would not be a good idea. The 2 supporting legs would probably bend between 40 to 50lbs. |
Question: | Can I use this interface just for listening to music? Im using 2 krk 10 and 2 krk 6 and planning to connect them to this interface for listening music |
Answer: | Yes it attaches to front axle bolts, and my tires are 29" and it leaves the basket with a slight downward incline. With 28" it should actually be a little bit more level. |
Question: | anybody know where to find the ipad SW |
Answer: | Dear valued Amazon Customer, Yes, it will fit with the fender. If you have additional questions or need replacement parts under warranty for the Wald 198 Front Bicycle Basket- call us at 1-877-BIKEAID (245-3243) and we would be pleased to assist. Thanks and best! |
Question: | Does this support phantom power for overhead Condenser Mics? Looking to use to record drum tracks |
Answer: | Most certainly! These are brackets so they're adjustable. Then the weight sits on the fork at the wheel. Order it, you'll like it I hope as much as I like mine. |

Ultra-HDDA Mic Preamps Deliver Low Noise& Low Distortion
TASCAM's Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) mic preamp design is based on discrete components, just like classic professional gear. They achieve an incredible EIN rating of -125 dBu, meaning their noise level is practically below the range of hearing. Other impressive specs include a signal-to-noise ratio of 101 dB, out-speccing anything in its price range. But instead of judging the design merely by test measurments, key components were selected following extensive listening tests.
XLR and TRS Accept Balanced Mic and Line Level Signals
The mic input features a professional XLR connector, which supplies +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. The US-4x4 is built from heavy duty metal throughout, so it stays on your desk even when moving mics around. An additional TRS input jacks is provided for balanced line-level signals from professional processors and synthesizers. Finally, the first two inputs can be switched to high-impedance for direct recording of electric guitar and bass. (Only the XLR or 1/4" input can be used, not both at the same time.)
Angled design provides excellent usability on a desktop
The angled design desktop viewing and operation much more comfortable for tabletop use. All other interfaces have their controls on the front or the top of the device, causing you to crane your neck to read the knobs and switches. The US-2x2 and 4x4 are at a natural angle, making operation easier to keep you creative.
Separate Volume Controls for Headphones and Line Output
The US-2x2 and US-4x4 include both headphone and line output volume controls. Even when both powered monitors and headphones are connected, the user can set an optimum level for each during operation. And when you want to work on headphones, you don't need to reach around to switch off your monitors.
Sleek Industrial Design Inspires Creativity
These powerful new interfaces are housed in modern industrial designs that are as ergonomic as they are stylish. TASCAM was the first company to offer a USB audio interface, and we have fused our years of experience with acclaimed German from designbox.
TASCAM's new US series satisfies the needs of musicians from an aesthetic as well as ergonomic perspective. With its unique honeycomb structure on the side panels, the main body has a sense of weight while also maintaining a delicacy that matches the user's needs. Honeycomb structures are a feature of modern architecture, but are also a vital resource whose exceptional technical structure we can use in design. As this structure is found in nature, it has a stability and flexibility which comes with being an organic form.

User questions & answers
Question: | Says it does 4 channel recording. It takes 4 individual channels and combines them to 2 stereo channels. Is there a way to maintain 4 separate channe |
Answer: | Hello, Yes, you can use the Scarlett 18i8 (3rd Gen) with Reaper. Best regards, Jay Lilley // Focusrite Technical Support Engineer |
Question: | I have a problem with the 60D not working with rechargeable batteries, even after changing the battery settings. Anyone else have this? Know of a fix |
Answer: | Hello, Yes this is possible in Windows. To expose additional channels from your Scarlett interface to non-ASIO applications (e.g. Skype, Discord, Zoom, Audacity) first click the Focusrite Notifier icon in the taskbar, then click "Expose/Hide Windows Channels": Best Regards, Anthony // Focusrite Support |
Question: | What's a good USB battery pack to pair with this |
Answer: | The biggest change is in the headroom. These preamps and converters are cleaner and offer more gain than the 2nd gen. These pres also come equipped with the "Air" mode which adds some high end to model the ISA preamp circuit. The 3rd gen 18i20 also has 16 ADAT I/O channels as opposed to the 2nd gen's 8 channels of ADAT. The removable ears also help with portability for the engineer who doesn't want to keep the interface in a rack. If this was helpful, please consider purchasing from us (pixelproaudio on Amazon). We can help with support after the sale as well. We have it in stock and ready to ship. - Pixel Pro Audio |
Question: | What's the difference between this and the previous version of the DR60D |
Answer: | Hi, There have been several improvements made to the 3rd generation range of interfaces. Firstly, all of the inputs on the 18i20 3rd gen feature Air mode, emulating the classic sound of our original transformer-based ISA preamps. Secondly, the 18i20 3rd gen now has the ability to switch between Main and Alternative speakers connected to it using a front panel button. Thirdly, we have added a built-in Talkback function (allowing the engineer to talk directly to the performer), a Loopback function (allowing audio from one application to be recorded into another without connecting cables), Dual ADAT ports for recording 16 channels of audio into the DAW at 96kHz, optical S/PDIF and removable rack ears. Lastly, the specifications of the preamps and conversion have been improved even further - for example, the dynamic range has been increased to 111dB and the gain range is now 56dB instead of 50dB on the 2nd generation. Best regards, Laurence Clarke // Focusrite Technical Support |
