Answer:	In my opinion no. They size is very convenient and probably enough sound for one dough out but not two and stands. You need to research the Ion Explorer Outback. That one would most definitely have the punch and then some that your looking to accomplish. Also battery life on the express has been 4+ hours in my experience at a max volume where the Explorer 40+hours. All in all the express might leave you wishing you had dropped the additional dime for the bigger unit. The m happy with both. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy with the express. I use it when working on the yard etc. and great sound but for what your asking the Explorer outback would be my choice.

How do I charge the Plunge?  How long does the charge last?

The Plunge comes with a micro USB port so it can be charged using the included micro-USB cable.  It can take up to 4 hours to fully charge and the battery can last up to 20 hours on a full charge.

 

Can I answer phone calls with the Plunge?

Yes!  When you have an incoming call, Plunge’s speaker will play a ringtone.

1. To answer the call, press Plunge's Call Receive 
   
   Note: If you get an incoming call during music playback, the music will pause until you
   
   end the call.
2. Speak into the microphone and adjust the call volume using the Volume 
3. To end the call, press the Call End

How do I connect the Plunge to my Bluetooth device?

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device.
2. Power on the Plunge and it will automatically go into pairing mode to search for Bluetooth devices. You will know you are in pairing mode when the Bluetooth icon is slowly flashing.
3. Navigate to your Bluetooth device’s setup screen, find "Plunge" and connect.
   
   Note: If your Bluetooth device prompts for a pairing code, enter “0000”.
4. Press and release the Bluetooth button to disconnect a paired Bluetooth device.
5. To connect to another Bluetooth device, repeat step 3.
   
   Note: Maximum range will be achieved when using devices with Bluetooth 4.0.

Answer:	I'm trying to connect to my Echo, and Alexa says it cannot find a device. A call to Ion tech support got the response, "Gee, we don't know. Try another device, see if that works." It did work with my iPad, so the Plunge is OK, but perhaps not compatible with the Echo.

Answer:	When my speaker's battery was drained, it took about an hour to recharge. On a full charged battery, the speaker should last a couple of hours.

Most laptops do include some sort of Bluetooth functionality, however, this is often a type of Bluetooth intended solely for mice and keyboards; not for streaming audio. Answer:	Mine is the 100 watt power and the only other I’ve used wasn’t. I think it’s better and use it often.
Question:	Difference between the Tailgater and Tailgater Plus
Answer:	Whoa, the plus does Not have wheels, note : the person carrying it in the description.. I own the original tailgater it's very solid in construction with reinforced corners. However because of how solid it is it's heavy ( at least for me I'm smalI) the quality of it sound imho can't be beat & since I bring music into nursing homes I always wished it had a built-in trolley. The the construction of the plus appears more delicate and comes in much lighter at 11 lbs versus the older model at 17 lb.. For the wheels you would have to upgrade two Ions raptor or path finder model.. hope that helps..
Question:	Can the radio be disconnected permanently
Answer:	Disconnected?? I mean the radio is only on if you turn the radio on. I don't know why you would want to disconnect it. There is a button marked radio. Only when you push it and turn the radio on does it come on, so if u never push that button I guess u could say that the radio is disconnected permanently.

Tough Sounds have a NRR of 25dB. What does that mean?

NRR stands for Noise Reduction Rating. Tough Sounds effectively reduces outside noise and protects your ears from hazardous sound levels.

 

How do I pair Tough Sounds to my Bluetooth device?

The SRC button toggles between AM, FM, and Bluetooth playback modes. To pair your Bluetooth device - 

1. Select ----(blinking) to activate Bluetooth mode and begin pairing.
2. In your Bluetooth device settings, find Tough Sounds and connect.
3. Once paired, the Bluetooth logo on the LCD screen will change to indicate that you are paired to your device. 
4. If you're having trouble with your Bluetooth connection, press and hold the SRC button for 2 seconds to reset the current Bluetooth connection (this is disabled during a phone call).

 

My Bluetooth device sees Tough Sounds but is unable to connect to them. How do I get my device to re-connect?

In your device's Bluetooth settings, select Tough Sounds and choose "Forget Device". After turning the product off and on again you should once again be able to pair your device.

 

How do I tell which earphone is for my left/right ear?

The LCD screen and controls are located on the RIGHT earphone. 

 

How long does the battery last? How long do my Tough Sounds need to charge?

Your Tough Sounds' battery should last approximately 20 hours on a 2-hour charge. If your Tough Sounds' battery is low you will notice the battery indicator flashing on the LCD screen. 

 

How do I tell that my Tough Sounds are done charging?

The battery indicator light on Tough Sounds will illuminate while charging and go out once the headphones have been fully charged. 

 

The LCD screen is working but none of the buttons do anything when I press them. Are my Tough Sounds broken?

Some settings, such as time, can be adjusted while Tough Sounds are turned off. In order to get any sort of output from Tough Sounds you must power them on by turning the volume knob until it clicks.

Answer:	I haven't tried. I assume antenna is for radio reception so if you are only using Bluetooth I would remove it.

Answer:	I'm assuming you mean "no longer holds a charge"... In that case, after 1000 or so recharges, the internal LiPoly battery capacity is spent and it's really between you and ION on how to proceed. However, by design, the battery is NOT replaceable by the customer.

Answer:	Bluetooth is a must feature for anyone who needs protective hearing protection for prolonged periods of time (during 8-12hr work days). I landscape and do construction. I own STIHL am/fm & mp3 wired headphones. They protect my ears great, but cord to mp3 player or phone is annoying and potentially dangerous. Gets caught on equipment, tangled & pulled out.Lots of people like switch back and forth between their music and actual news on radio, or as some said, live sports. Answer:	I don't know, but the one that comes with this does not work very well. Had to do mine one at a time to prevent jamming. Also says you can hook to TV but that doesn't work either( tech service has no answer)

Answer:	My slide copier came with a plastic bar that has a cleaning pad on the end of it. When the feed tray is out of the copier, this cleaning tool slides in on the top of the LED screen. slide it around to clean the screen. -------Don
