Answer:	Yes, it is designed to be pointed at your face so that you can hear it. It is possible to use a multi position clamp that is designed for drum hardware stands to alter the angle of the monitor, but if you don't get one that is long enough, there may be issues with dimensional clearance from your mic stand. This is now I had mine mounted when I used it.
Question:	How well does it handle feedback when set up right next to a dynamic mic like a shure sm58? what about condensers, like choir mics
Answer:	Using an SM58 and standard mic manners I have had no problems, even with teens and children at the mic (as you know, an open mic in close proximity and pointed at any speaker will begin a feedback loop). I use 8 SRM150's each week and keep 1 for emergency. Good little speaker.

Answer:	yes,
Question:	What ohm is the 5.25" driver
Answer:	There is no possibility that you need to know this. The impedance (ohms rating) of the driver only would matter if you were, yourself, matching the driver to an amp. In this case, a Class D amp is built in, and that amp is the only option for powering the driver. And the built-in amp has surely been carefully matched by the product's engineers to the driver's impedance. Hope that helps.

Answer:	No, they are both the same angle. That said, they are excellent speakers for whatever use you have in mind.

An unpowered mixer is like the old stereo component sets where you have the power amp and the receiver that you add with the radio and you can also add a turntable. the powered amp is like having all of that attached in one case. Powered mixer gives you less stuff to transport while unpowered gives you a more control and a monster audio mixer but a lot more stuff to lug around. you also need to figure out what's important to you specifically, how many inputs and outputs and the master output.

The Mackie Thump15A is a 1300W 15" powered loudspeaker with a redesigned amplifier with Dynamic Bass Response, which provides chest-thumping low end for a variety of applications including rehearsal studios, small bars & coffee shops, small night clubs, karaoke events, weddings, houses of worship, fitness centers, and mobile DJs.



The loudspeaker features a Class-D amplifier that drives 1000W to the high-output 15" woofer and 300W into the 1.4" titanium dome compression driver, which combine to provide a frequency response of 32 Hz to 23 kHz with a maximum SPL of 127 dB. The integrated 2-channel mixer features Vita preamps with Wide-Z technology for handling a variety of sources including microphones, Hi-Z instruments, and line signals with ease. An XLR output is available for connecting to other Thump loudspeakers to increase output and coverage.



There are four application-specific speaker modes for quick and easy system optimization, as well as a precision digital crossover and transducer alignment. The built-in system protection and thermal limiting is designed to keep your system safe.
