Question:	I bought this item. There is no holes in the chinrest for the mounting hardware. Should they be there
Answer:	It depends on the persons size. I would take her to a music shop and see what you can learn. If I were to take a guess I would say go with the 3/4, but it really depends on the size of the child. If the 3/4 is too large, it wouldn't be for too long. The scale on the smaller violins is shorter making the reach easier for smaller hands. A music teacher at school would be a good source to settle the matter. This violin is inexpensive so if you get the wrong size it is not a big loss.
Question:	Are the tuning pegs supposed to have a hole for the string? Mine didn't
Answer:	Out of the box, just tune the violin (tuner not included), tighten the bow and rosin it for about 10-15 minutes, and the violin is set.
