Though the carton was a bit damaged upon arrival, the case and the cello arrived in perfect condition. It was my understanding that the models with the lower numbers would be delivered in soft cases (though presumably also in a carton shipping box), and I did not want to run the risk. I think that the 600 comes in a true hard case, so that might be even better shipment-wise - but then you would want to go for the different sound quality of the 600 and the associated price. My order was shipped to Miami, and from there to Suriname, South America.

It must be in place for the instrument to work and so there is structural support under the treble foot take it to a luthier and he will set the post and tune the instrument.

Answer:	SB79c is the old silent brass system with the larger bulbous mute. The SB7x2 or SB7xc are both the same (just different retailer codes) and are the new Silent Brass system that comes with the smaller mute. The ST9 is the practice module that comes with the new SB7x2 systems. You definitely want to get the newer SB7x2 (or SB7xc as it might be called on Amazon). Much better than the old SB79c system.
