Answer:	Short answer, yes they should be fine. Long answer, the comparability between strings and guitars doesnt matter, its the string slots that in the nut that matter. The les Paul's usually use bigger strings anyway.

Answer:	Slinky is just a line of strings from Ernie Ball, the "Slinkier" they are the thinner they are, regular Slinky are 10 gauge strings, super slinky are 9s, and "Not Even Slinky" strings are 12s (the number represents the gauge of the lightest string in the set).

Answer:	Gibson should be able to handle well into the 70's which is great for all your drop F# needs. In short. Yes.

Answer:	I wouldn't. Really heavy strings like this are meant to be used for downtuning. There really is no point to using an extra heavy string in standard or Eb tuning except for making it a little hard to play. If you're playing in standard or Eb use 9s or 10s. These are awesome for Drop A or even C standard.

Answer:	Depends on the type of blues you play.... If you lean more toward "Delta", you probably wont like these much 'cause they give you more bottom end and highs and get rid of that muddy low-mid much sought-after in that style. Otherwise, many of us who pursue the more recent guitar gods (aka Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Page, etc.) will probably find these strings to be a nice "push" - to some, it will be like adding well-needed air to a deflating balloon.
Question:	What is thw difference between Balanced and Not Balanced versions
Answer:	In producing a Balanced Tension set, D'Addario has attempted to make the string tension of all six strings as equal as possible. The benefit to the play is that pressing on one string feels essentially the same as pressing on any other string. This is especially important for string-bending. Once you learn how much pressure is necessary to bend one string to increase the pitch 1/2 step (for example), the same pressure will increase the pitch 1/2 step on any other string.

Answer:	Some people will say yes, others, like myself, would say no. I love this set for standard e, I like a little snap that tight strings provide. Personally, for drop c, I used to use the Beefy Slinky set and add a single .58 guage string on the 6th/fattest string. This gave you that snap on double chuck palm muting for metalcore/ hardcore; I've always felt that a tighter 6th string reset quicker than a slacky-one. You can find Ernie ball single string sets in almost any gauge and making your own custom set is cool.

Answer:	Yes You might want to file the 48 notch if it seems small. I always use graphite to help with friction.
Question:	Scuse the dumb question, but are these for acoustic or electric
Answer:	Pretty sure, in the purest sense, they're meant for electric jazz guitars, such as that Gibson ES-Something-or-Other archtop guitar. I've never owned anything like that, but use them (10s or 11s) successfully on several different acoustic guitars. They are quiet compared to round wound strings, or even the flat wound elixirs, but you don't screech all around the neck at all. Hope that helps.
Question:	would these work for an acoustical guitar
Answer:	It's all about the tone you want. These strings sound "different" from typical acoustic strings, not as bright and not as loud, so I put them on my acoustic guitar to give them a whirl and I instantly thought I should take them off. However, after playing them for a few days I started to "work with them" and I have become a fan of these strings. They are silky smooth and are a joy to play. My fingers feel happy after playing and I have found new sounds that only these strings can produce on my acoustic. These strings have made me play cleaner and more volume-balanced (no notes "stick out" from the others) in a song unless I want them to. I have two acoustic guitars and one of them will always have these strings on! I have become partial to the unique sound these strings deliver.

Question:	Do these have a wound third
Answer:	No, and it goes dead a lot quicker than the other strings in the set. After using these for a couple years and having to buy a wound third string separately I switched over to the d addario nyxl strings which do have a wound third. They aren’t quite as heavy as these ones but I’ve never looked back.

Answer:	Probably figured it out already, but 10-62 is a 7 string set. Standard tuning is B. You’re probably fine in either drop A, dropAb, or drop G.... lower than that you’re going to have to have a really light touch to deal with the lack of tension

Question:	How do these compare to ernie ball cobalts? i have cobalts for "extra magnetism" because i use a sustainiac pickup and want max effect
Answer:	They last LONGER. I THINK there is a higher carbon content in these, in other words, more magnetisim. I could be wrong and it includes the cobalt along with INSANE longevity. I use string cleaner with these. They are great. It really amounts to how much you need/want to change your strings. These strings stay crispy for along time, even when they should be dull they retain a sort of spank. Maybe they resist corrosion on a molecular level or something? They cost 3x the amount of Regular slinkys and THEY WILL PERFORM AND LAST ACCORDINGLY! Without any coatings. The same awesome slinky feel as always. I also think they over wing these - AKA ... they use a technique like DR ... essentially winding a low E string at around say, .59 and they over tighten in onto their specially designed hex core until it measures .52. DR has been doing this for decades and it makes a difference as there is more matter in the same space. I really suggest buying pack. I know its crazy but if you noticed the difference with the cobalt, try these and see if you like the longevity/how long they last you. Don't leave them in the sun, in dust etc. I leave my axe on a music stand so I cant say too much. I never have used a 7 string guitar. 5 string bass sure. Oh. And these DO NOT BREAK. EVER! I had one break due to a INSANELY sharp edge on the saddle the string was sitting on. Was a new Chibson (Harley Benton). Fixed that though. Try to break them. Within reason.

Question:	I use nyxl’s & love them. how do these feel compared to nyxls? are they stiffer from the coating
Answer:	No, they feel like normal strings. And they lasted a lot longer.
Question:	are they supposed to be slippery? I am trying to learn guitar but trying a D chord results in my 3rd finger sliding
Answer:	According to D'Addario ... "XT strings feature an extended lifespan treatment on every string in the set, preserving the natural tone and feel of uncoated strings". Personally, I don't find them noticeably 'slippery'. I put mine on around December 10th, 2019 and they still feel clean & smooth. These are the first coated string I have tried. I understand other brands may be more 'slippery' than these. I can't exactly see what you are trying to do, so I can't comment on that.
Question:	Am i able to get a replacement for my g string for 09/46, i just got my order yesterday, also my g string snapped
Answer:	Argh! I hate when a new string breaks! You probably can order a single string, but it's usually more "cost effective" to order another complete set of strings. You might want to check w/ a local music store; they may offer you a better price on single strings.
