Question:	Are these genuine D'Addario strings
Answer:	Cannot be absolutely sure if they are genuine D'Addario strings however was unable to tune 1st E strings to proper pitch as they all broke before reaching pitch. I would not recommend these strings even though the other five held their tension. Actually had to replace the 1st E string with one from the local music store.

Answer:	Never tried it.... the only thing I can think of that "might" give you a hiccup would be the grooves in the nut for the E, B, & G strings.
