Question:	Which set would be good for drop B
Answer:	A larger string gauge will produce higher tension. When you drop your tuning that higher tension will help retain note clarity and power. Go for the Power Slinky or buy an even larger 5 string set and use only the biggest 4 strings. You'll have to adjust the truss rod and bridge afterwards.

Answer:	Unless otherwise noted, all of our bass strings are 48" in length and designed for basses with a scale length of 34".

Question:	How are the mediums compared to lights, i am looking at these for my first string change and i don't know what i have now. Is there a big difference
Answer:	Not really a big difference. The most common gauge is 45-65-85-105 (Custom Light). If you like a bit more stiffness in your G and D strings, go with Medium. If you like a little looser E and A, go with Light. If you don't care one way or the other, just go with Custom Light.Mind you, again, it's not a huge difference. It's subtle. I like my E and A a little softer so it's easier to dig in, so I buy Lights (45 65 80 100).

Answer:	been using EXL-170 for years with drop B and D tuning 4 string - fender P bass no buzz super clear

Answer:	If you want to avoid any bright tone, then consider taped, flat finish strings that are designed to reduce string and fret noise. Your pick ups and playing style will also affect your tone. These are middle of the road for nickel wound strings.

Answer:	I have this combination. I run the 700RB-II in to a 4 ohm Neo cab. You will get more power and punchy sound. I like it that way. The only disadvantage is that you can not add another cab because you are at the minimum 4 ohm. That is fine for me I would rather get the punchy clean sound. Good Luck.

Answer:	I would this you would at least need to buy a medium size.
Question:	Does this come set up right out of the box
Answer:	Probable not- the whole idea of this item is to cleanup the slight miscues or string buzz from heavy playing/ distortion. I kind of takes the other strings out of play if you know what I mean. So no for open strings. Not bad for mythological playing where you want to be super clean around the fretboard. You can move it around too if what you are playing keeps you away from the 1st few frets. Not bad to have one- you probable would find a use for it unless all you play is heavy metal. :) They are cheap enough but tend to stretch after a while and the Velcro wears out- than it’s useless and u need a new one. Answer:	A Jazz bass generally has a more narrow neck than a standard or precision style. Therefore, I would recommend the small for your bass if it is a 4-string jazz.

Answer:	No, these strings have very good sound, the problem whith these strings is that if you like "bends" and "vibrato", big erosion on strings caused by the frets in minutes.

Answer:	That would be amazing! We have offered Black Beauty Round Wounds for Short Scale before. We are waiting for more to be manufactured but do not have a definite ETA. Coated Flats would be very very difficult to make. Flats are polished smooth after the flat ribbon wire is wound. Unfortunately if they were coated they would not be able to be polished so will not be nearly as sooth as a traditional flatwound. Answer:	They should work with most guitars. My guess is they will be way too long, but can be cut down. Make sure you do it after stringing and cut both wires on the wound strings so they don't unravel.I had to cut off about 8 inches on my acoustic Seagull.

Answer:	I have a 45 year old Martin d-28 I use the extra light strings EJ 15 3 Dbecause I like to fingerpickthey have a very good warm soundif your guitar is fairly new try the light gauge strings they sound very good too and you can buy 3 packs for under $15 at Amazon. D'Addario makes a good string and I find they last a long time. I highly recommend!
Question:	I bought these for my son and the first two strings broke when he was putting them on. We are on the third set in twenty minutes
Answer:	When you put on a string, you have to allow enough slack for the string to coil around the tuner post. Feed the string through and leave enough slack so you can pull the string about 4 inches above the fret board and then slowly wind it up and as it tightens, pause once in a while let the string stretch. Some strings can take a day to stretch, some don't. Be patient. Good luck...but if you don't leave slack for coiling strings will break.

Answer:	Yes, this is a full set.Specifically this is a set of 3. If you want just one select the 1 pack. (I tried to include a link but Amazon defaults it to the 3 pack for some reason)It is possible to look up and find individual strings, but honestly that ends up being more difficult in my opinion and for the cost you might as well grab a set.I am fairly new to guitars as well, so let me just take a moment to say these strings are highly recommended. Question:	Do they fit into a 35'' scale bass
Answer:	I doubt that they would unless you had a very short distance between the bridge and tailpiece and two-on-a-side tuners. They are designed for up to a 34" scale length. I'd look for something comparable in "super long."
Question:	How many strings are in this packaging
Answer:	4 numbers, 45, 60, 80, 107, means 4 strings.
Question:	Are they gonna be ok for drop a sharp tuning and for c standard? wouldn't they be too loose or to tense
Answer:	I play with a 0.135 for the "B" string, so I'm pretty sure a 0.120 for a "C" string would be ok. Assuming that set is a "bead" standard tuning, a bit more tension, you will get.
