13 best ibanez acoustic guitar strings
Ibanez, a well-known brand in the musical instrument industry, produces a range of acoustic guitar strings. These strings are specifically designed for acoustic guitars and are an essential component of the instrument, contributing to its sound and playability.
Ibanez acoustic guitar strings are typically made from high-quality materials, such as bronze or phosphor bronze. These materials are chosen for their ability to produce a warm and bright tone, making them well-suited for acoustic guitars. The gauge or thickness of the strings may vary, allowing players to choose strings that match their playing style and preference.
Phosphor bronze strings, for instance, are known for their durability, corrosion resistance, and rich, warm tone. Bronze strings, on the other hand, provide a bright and clear sound. The choice of string material and gauge can significantly impact the sound and playability of the acoustic guitar.
Ibanez acoustic guitar strings are designed to be reliable and long-lasting, reducing the need for frequent replacements. Proper care and maintenance, such as regular cleaning and tuning, can further extend the lifespan of these strings.
It's important for guitar players to experiment with different types of strings to find the ones that best complement their playing style and desired sound. Additionally, following the manufacturer's recommendations for string maintenance and replacement is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the strings.

Ibanez classical guitars take the guesswork out of finding an affordable, great-sounding classical guitar that's easy to fret and play. Whether you are looking for a traditional classical-sized instrument or a comfortable nylon-string beginner guitar, they are extremely well-constructed, affordable and have the pristine tonality and playability of much more expensive instruments. The GA35 has a spruce top and mahognay body that's only 2-3/4" thick. Being more resistant to feedback, it's ideal for stage work. It also has a narrower neck than a standard classical guitar making it a great crossover instrument for the steel-string or electric-guitar player. A cutaway and 14th-fret neck joint further enhance the playability of this affordable nylon string.

Question: | Does anyone know a similar price range bass that has a tuner (which works without being plugged in; unlike this one) and 2 strap buttons |
Answer: | Our model has both strap buttons. Buy from Echo tone Music on last page of twelve sellers. All Acoustic electric guitars and basses have to be plugged in for the tuner to operate. Just get clip on tuner, problem solved. |
Question: | The description states the size to be 40x5x12. Is the 40 inches the entire length including neck and body |
Answer: | My guitar measures 40 inches from the bottom of the bridge to the top of the headstock. The overall length of the guitar is 45 inches. |
Question: | can anyone tell me how loud the bass is? as in if i were to jam with a standard acoustic would i be able to hear the bass at a good volume |
Answer: | Un-amplified use? The body of this bass is smaller than a dreadnought guitar: lower bout 15 1/4 in., depth 4 1/4 in. The sound volume will be less, A-string and E-string volume is weak. |

Slightly smaller and far more slender than a typical acoustic, Ibanez's GA35TCE thinline nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar is a comfortable fit for anyone from flatpickers to finger stylists alike. To give the GA35TCE a clear voice that suits blues and country, rock and pop equally well, Ibanez built this workhorse acoustic guitar with a back and sides made from mahogany. A solid spruce top balances out the GA35TCE's deep and rich low end with an even balance of midrange clarity and high-end sparkle. And to top it all off, you're even ready to take the stage thanks to the GA35TCE's Fishman pickups and AEQ210T preamp/tuner system. The combination Ibanez chose, a spruce top on a mahogany back and sides, has been a favorite among songwriters and live performers since the beginning of modern American music. Together, these tonewoods give the GA35TCE acoustic-electric guitar warm and present lows and clearly defined highs, leaving plenty of space in the midrange for your vocals. Whether you're the humblest of Saturday afternoon porch pickers or the seasoned pro who's been hauled from show to show a time or two, this Ibanez GA35TCE acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar was made for you. Everyone needs an inexpensive acoustic guitar you can pack up, head out, and run off with anytime you need, without worrying about damaging any priceless instruments. But your "beater" guitar doesn't need to sound bad, and the Ibanez GA35TCE is more than proof enough of that. In fact, its natural acoustic sound makes it a great campfire guitar, but it's small enough to be your new favorite couch guitar as well. The built-in AEQ210T preamp (complete with XLR out!) sounds great plugged in, so you'll most likely find yourself holding your new favorite stage guitar too when you take your GA35TCE acoustic-electric on stage!
- Spruce-topped mahogany
- Mahogany back and sides
- Onboard Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ210T preamp provide extraordinary sound when you play plugged in
- AEQ210T preamp system includes an onboard tuner
- Smaller-than-average body style fits guitarists of all sizes

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this a 3/4 size guitar |
Answer: | It is a 25.3 inch scale guitar, it is not a 3/4 guitar which has a shorted scale and body mostly designed for beginners or players with small fingers. A parlor guitar is generally a 25 inch scale guitar with a smaller body, softer sound that was good for intimate performances. |
Question: | Is the top/sound board made of solid spruce or is it a laminate? Thanks |
Answer: | Laminate on this model. |
Question: | Is there a jack (for plugging into an amp) on this guitar |
Answer: | Hi Eleanor. Yes, the jack is located in a hole in the end pin. The end pin is place on the guitar where one end of a neck strap is connected to the bottom of the guitar. If one is not looking for it, it can be easily missed. |
Question: | how does this compare in body size to a dreadnought |
Answer: | The body is a little smaller in size than a dreadnought but the length is pretty much the same. It is comfortable to play with a great sound. Only thing i would recommend is a new set of strings for it. The ones it comes with are not great at all. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are there pegs to attach a strap to |
Answer: | I lost my regular black one that my dad gave me. I didn't even consider a different capo. I love the gold color and shimmer, it looks so pretty with my acoustic orange Ibanez! |
Question: | Can it be used together |
Answer: | The properties of the pad on the capo are such that this capo is likely to work well with either a six-string acoustic or a six-string electric guitar. The fact is: the difference in radius between most guitar fretboards is very small. There are a few exceptions to this, but if you own one of those guitars you probably already know that using a special capo is preferred. In addition, keep in mind that that capo works by pressing the strings down, not actually making perfect contact with the fretboard. This minimizes the differences even further. |
Question: | What is the width of the fingerboard at the nut |
Answer: | I know that this is slightly curved to match the necks of steel string electrics and acoustics, but because of its rubber surgace i think it will do fine. It is more universal than other capos ive used, and i think that for at least most of the neck of a classical it would do what it needs to. |
Question: | is the back solid or in two pieces |
Answer: | I bought both the "6 Rosewood Acoustic" and "E Electric Quick Change Capo". The rubber pad is 1/32 (.031") inch longer on the acoustic capo. The spring on the acoustic capo is stronger. The photos look like there is a rubber pad to protect the edge of the fretboard, but there IS NO PAD to protect the eedge of the fretboard. It is a piece of tape. It may provide some protection. The clamp leg could be longer. If you accidentally release before completely on, the end of the clamp leg may press against the neck. |
