| Answer: | The hooks are very sturdy, but the main consideration is how the hooks are fastened to the wall. I recommend using a longer screws and mounting the hooks to a stud behind the drywall, or using a set of heavy duty drywall taps if the bass is more than 10lbs. I hung three guitars including a Fender Strat that was 8.5 lbs with no problem. The hooks come with a set of screws. The screws are not long enough to screw deep enough into a stud behind drywall. I used a longer set of screws that better matched the drywall taps I was using. |

| Answer: | For someone confident and basically skilled with these sorts of things, it's quite simple. I made a couple of easily corrected mistakes 1st try, due to being overconfident and not closely reading the instructions. But I got it right on the 2nd try after taking it apart and putting it back together. Sounds like you might have a bit of trouble if you're nervous about it, so I'd suggest asking a friend who's good at this sort of thing to help you with it. The instructions are precise and right, but there are a couple of subtleties in how the pieces are oriented and aligned that I missed 1st time around. Any competent handyperson should be able to get it right 1st try if they carefully follow the instructions, lay it out on a large table or the floor first, then put it together exactly as the instructions show. and tell. NOTE: I did *NOT* glue the pieces together as the instructions say to do. As it turned out, that allowed me to take it back apart and correct my errors with no difficulty. I didn't glue them together on the final (2nd) try either -- I want to be able to take it apart again later if I need to pack and ship it, store it away or pack it for moving. If the pieces were glued I wouldn't be able to do that. I'm using the rack now with 5 cases on it and it's holding up just fine, so I don't think the glue is really necessary, unless you're going to be traveling with it a lot, say, or moving it around a lot, folding and unfolding often, etc. |

| Answer: | I was happy with the rack and its color. I got a bunch of guitars off the floor in stored in in a good-looking, functioning rack. Having refinished furniture before, I recommend sanding the wood thoroughly before applying your preferred stain. |

| Answer: | Provided the dimensions match up, it’ll hold it just fine. Though for an 8 lb lap steel, I would recommend screwing the bracket of this directly into a stud. It’s a cool display hanger, I recommend it! |

| Answer: | The weight and size are fine. As for the low or standard profile, it is completely personal preference. The low profile hanger shows more of the front of the guitar and is less likely to make contact with dials or switches. The standard profile hooks come up in front of the guitar to prevent tipping which we recommend for areas that experience frequent earthquakes. |

He has designer jeans, yet the 511 and 512 Levi's are among his favorites. I guess I would call them more updated or trendy than the old Levi versions, yet still classic. |
