Answer:	It should hold a standard theater projector. Just ensure that the locking knobs are tightened. There isn't a screw hole to secure the projector. You'll need to strap it down or apply non slip adhesives to the tray. An alternative would be to drill holes lining up to existing bottom holes and bolt it in. Hope that helps.

Answer:	You could adjust it to any height, up to its maximum. The drilled holes are for extra security to keep it from sliding back down. But you could tighten the nut enough to hold it wherever you want. You just won't have that added security. You could always put the pin at the next higher hole so that, if it did slide, it would only go a couple inches.

Answer:	It can be flat or you can have it an angle it is adjustable.
Question:	Is the surface smooth? No bumps or grit
Answer:	The surface has a slight texture to it, but no bumps or grit. The screws that secure it to the mount are counter sunk so the are not in the way of anything.
Question:	how big is the tray
Answer:	Not sure of actual dimensions but I use it for a pretty beefy 25-key midi controller, so a laptop would easily fit on this bad boy.
Question:	Can you fit a mouse on it with a 17" laptop
Answer:	I don't think you would have too much room to move a mouse very far. You would have to put the laptop againtst the far left or right side of the top platform and as my review states, this has a VERY flexible and smooth top. I was not comfortable having an expensive laptop sitting on the top when it is so bendable and flexible so I returned mine. All in all, if you were comfortable with the flexiblity of the top, you could use the mouse but not for moving it more than a few inches at a time.

Answer:	I don't know if it's been fixed. It was flimsy but it is a great stand. I never used the music tray. I used the stand to hold my LCD 22" screen for karaoke. As I said the stand is awesome. Personally, I like Pyle products. Inexpensive and durable. Get a tablet and down load your music!
Question:	How will it work to hold an Ipad in a protective case
Answer:	The Page holder is 19" wide by 13" high. The lip on the bottom is 2" high. The clamping system is good. Measure your ipad and open case and see how the dimensions compare. It held an old steam-powered HP G60 laptop with out any problems. Just make sure you have tightened the clamps.

Answer:	Make sure you have all the parts there should be like a knuckle that attaches to the plate and then to the post . The plate is adjustable as in tilting should have a type of knob bolt that makes it easy to tilt and hold in place . Sounds like if you may not have this part . I will try and send a picture later .

Answer:	strong enough for anything that I throw at it. the only plastic on the tripod are the tightening handles and clamp for extension. there is a steel pin to hold the height of the pole.
Question:	I bought this stand and next to the hight adjustment knob there is a small pin on a chain connected to it. What is this for? Am I missing something
Answer:	It is recommended to use this pin rather than rely on the adjustment knob whenever possible. The weight of the speaker can cause the grip action of the adjustment knob to eventually wear out and be able to slip. Using the pin simply eliminates this from happening, and is also extra safety measure when the speaker is in place, especially for a fairly heavy speaker.

Answer:	Yeah my brother has this paired with the focusrite solo, Which has a usb connector you put into your pc. You plug your xlr into it and con monitor it directly with gain, and it's good if you plan on upgrading from this mic in the future.

Answer:	Same as previous answers, this is a stand, so it is "compatible" with a lot of controllers. For the size of the Pioneer XDJ r1, it will hold it but not as secure as a smaller controller. if you plan to do a lot of scratching, it would be best to have the controller on a flat surface. I use it for a Numark NS6II and it works fine (603 x 340 x 64mm) but if I try scratching it moves a lot, feels like it may fall but doesn't., it is just a big controller . However, this is the only stand I have found which can fit this large of a controller.
Question:	Is it compatible with virtual dj
Answer:	It's a metal stand. It holds a laptop and controller. If you run Virtual DJ 8 on a laptop, then yes, it will 'fit'.
