Answer:	design wise, don’t see any difference between the two. maybe the newer model is constructed of a different material?

Answer:	The machince that I ordered came with 8 strings. The strings are ok. As you become more knoweldgeable about stringing and the science behind different strings, you'll migrate towards higher quality. I really like the Gamma X-2 stringing machine, but I wouldn't let the quantity of strings it comes with be a factor in purchasing it - you will most likely begin to experiment with different types of strings once you get comfortable with strining your racket.
Question:	How well do the strings hold tension after being strung with this machine
Answer:	They hold very well - it would take me about a month of playing (3+ hours each day 3 days a week) to feel a difference in tension. I'm about a 4.5 player if that makes a difference, just to prove a point that I don't hit 2 mph shots. I hope this helps you!
Question:	Are there any other tools not included with this stringing machine that are 1) needed, 2) recommended, or 3) nice to have
Answer:	I would say that a starting clamp is highly recommended, almost needed. If you watch a couple of stringing videos, most of them use a starting clamp. They are also great to pull on the string for the tie off. You will need something to cut the strings. I use a very small pair of wire cutters. The last thing that is nice to have would be an awl. Sometimes if you need to thread a strong and it's hard to get through the grommet because another string is in the way, you can widen the hole with the awl.

Answer:	Each option has its own speed with different levels of intensity. With each option comes a variation. Like the beat of a song it is rhythmic, steady and can vary in intensity. There are eight different rhythms but each one can be altered once but the intensity has ten different settings. Not sure if this answers your question. There is one that feels like it is constant and steady.

Answer:	I don't know about the $18 tuners, but I did a great review on these (terry). I've tried cheaper tuners and they don't always work good. Better to spend a bit more and get something decent.

Answer:	not sure about the bullet, but my indonesian made squier has 10mm holes but uses a two pin system on the headstock..these tuners have screw to anchor the tuner

Answer:	They aren't very big, I use them on my 6 string guitar and on my sons smaller guitar.

Answer:	Partial capos can easily be used together with altered tunings, and a number of very fruitful combinations are already in use by some players. Tunings and capos are sort of "mirror images" of each other, and each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Answer:	They do not work properly on my Taylor 656CE 12. At the 5th fret and up, okay but they do not work below that. Recently had the guitar set up and the action is quite low so I am surprised the capo could not compress below the 5th fret.

Answer:	Yes. There are two heights of tuners. Three long and three short. Just FYI, there is no order other than that. I bought more of these and checked exclusively to see if there was staggering within the groups of three and there WAS NOT. These are a fantastic upgrade from regular sealed tuners. Question:	Will these fit a 2014 MIM Strat without modification
Answer:	IF your MIM Strat has the similar looking Fender tuners (made by Ping), then they are a direct replacement. If your Strat has the Fender "Vintage" style tuners, then they will not without a few mods. To tell for certain, just remove one of your existing tuners and look for two alignment pins on the back of the tuner which fit into two small holes drilled into in the rear of the head stock, under the tuners. If you have those alignment pins, you're golden.

Answer:	Standard fender locking MIM tuners are fine people just don’t know how to use them. They are locking so you need to slack the string and tune up. As soon as you tune down it un locks. Think of a ratchet strap..... And the nut needs some graphite like pencil lead. Messy but works.
