Answer:	Depends on the size of the book. I have used it with paperback sheet music books with the pages held back with potato chip clips, but i’m not sure I’d trust it with a larger hardback.

Question:	I purchased this last year but base that holds on to the stand cracked so its not stable and the plastic knob also cracked. Can i get replacementparts
Answer:	Depending how you tilt the stand, I measured the bottom to be at 49" (top at 61") when tilted flat against the stand pole. Tall enough for my husband who is 6'2".
Question:	Has the screw issue been corrected (screws preventing music from sitting flat on the tray
Answer:	Well, yeah, it could, but I wouldn't recommend it. Here's why. It's sturdy enough for sheet music, but it is no where near as rigid as the little scooter carts they make for keyboards and laptops, besides, even in the lowest position it would be a bit high for good typing ergonomics. Also, the ledge that holds the music would interfere with your wrists while you were typing, and if you turned it around "backwards" to avoid that, you would be placing a much heavier load on the hinge joint between the floor stand and the flat panel. If you needed it for this in a pinch, it would work, but for a long term solution, I'd recommend you try something else.
Question:	We cannot get the light to work. The cord plugs in to the base, but does not seem to be flush to the base. It sticks out. Is that normal
Answer:	I've used this stand for clarinet, fiddle and guitar music. It works whether I'm sitting or standing, easy to adjust.

Answer:	I have not had any wobble. And yes, the part that holds the music stays put until I change its angle. This music stand is good quality. I'm glad I invested in a product that will last.

Answer:	I do not think it can accommodate the weight and thickness of a binder. I keep my songs in plastic sheet protectors with each page numbered for easy return. I put one song on the stand at a time.

Answer:	Not very. You'll need a special screwdriver type of tool. Not sure what it's called. It looks like a rod with six sides. Not hard to find.

Answer:	We use this is our classrooms in lieu of a lectern to hold our coursebooks and tablets whole we lecture. Our coursebooks are about 3 lbs and the stand holds them easily. Anecdotally, my instructors pile things on these stands all the time and they hold the weight comfortably. If you're worried about whether they will hold a certain weight limit, let me know and I'll try piling on a few extra items to see how they hold up.

Answer:	Base is 31" when completely collapsed. Tray detaches and is 19" by 14". Not bad to carry around as I take it to rehearsal every week with no problem. It is very sturdy and the arms on the tray are detachable if you don't need or want them.
Question:	Will the clips on this stand hold the pages of a medium-sized book open, or are they mainly good for a few pieces of sheet music
Answer:	The clips have springs in them and the springs are not super-stiff, so their holding power is good but not real strong. If your book is thin or spiral or the spine is a bit broken in, it's fine. If the book is thicker with a stiff spine, the clips will definitely still work, but the book will be curved (arced) rather than pinned down, so it may be a little hard to read text near the center spine.

Answer:	I bought the stand that is light blue in color. It seems that the paint is baked on. Hard to scratch. I can't see where it would be a problem.

Answer:	I put my music notebook on the stand and it probably weighs between 1-2 pounds. It is fairly sturdy and can hold a good amount. Not flimsy like some of these stands.

Answer:	The thickness of the book lip is about 1&1/4 in.,. For width, I measure almost 18 &1/2 in.
