Answer:	I’m 6’ and 207lbs, and it seems plenty sturdy for me. As far as height, it should have plenty of range for you.

Answer:	The triangular-shaped, bicycle-style seat is generally preferred by the larger and/or heavier drummers, which would include pretty much anyone over 250 lbs. Unfortunately, many drum thrones look exactly alike when viewed as black & white photographs online. The less-expensive thrones are only designed to accommodate children weighing up to 150 lbs. Conventional drum thrones can safely handle most adults in the 150-250 pound range. Anyone heavier than that should definitely look into the triangular-shaped seats - that can certainly cost up to several hundred dollars (ouch!) - but can safely accommodate an adult weighing in at 350 lbs. Another alternative would be to consider the kind of seats that are intended to be used as replacement seats in pleasure craft (motor boats).
Question:	Does the seat swivel
Answer:	It swivels if you loosen up the wing nut, but there are no swivel bearings. It feels a little loose when is swivels. My son likes to loosen the wing nut to make it swivel. I prefer it not swiveling though. It's easy enough to loosen or tighten the wing nut. It's a large thick metal chrome plated wing nut, so it's no big deal to adjust it.

Answer:	It's comfortable for short periods, 1/2 an hour or less behind a kit. Probably too large for a 3 yr old but can't answer that with any accuracy.

Answer:	The height limits appear to be measured from the floor to the top of the seat (sitting surface) when compressed by sitting upon it (there is a gas shock absorber that compresses a bit when you sit on it). When I measure the seat height without me sitting on it the minimum is closer to 19", but when I sit on it the height drops slightly to about 18". The maximum height is about 24" to the top of the seat.

Answer:	this would work perfectly well as a keyboard stool. It has enough up and down range to accommodate most any keyboard height.

It has held up well against three boys (the cymbal is well tented, but has held in there). It has enough adjustment on the seat that I think it would work from three or four to about 8 years old.

Question:	does anyone know if this would work well for guitar playing? No actual foot rest but could possibly use top of one of the legs
Answer:	From a height stand point it would be fine, but I would think for guitar you would want a foot rest. Not sure this will do. I bought it thinking I could use for playing timpani but way too low, so I purchased a timpani throne. I gave this one to my friend that plays drum set and it’s perfect for that. You may prefer a Roc-n-Soc stool for guitar that has foot rest. Some have backs as well. But they are a bit pricey.

The back rest, that depends on how you sit, or if you are use to playing really high, meaning the seat extended all the way up, also your physical height has some part in it. I am a short person 5'6" so use the throne very high up, and do sit back for some sequences. I do both, lean forward and sit back. but the back rest is not adjustable, that would have been nice.

Question:	Does the throne make any squeaking or other noises
Answer:	No, it makes no noise. However, it is not a good product overall and I recommend something different. This product does not adjust height wise and the central grip does not hold the throne seat up. It slides through the bracket and damaged/ripped my carpet.

Answer:	It did not support me (190) but also did not support my kid (40). This stool design is terrible. It is not adjustable. The height doesn’t change no matter what setting you put it in. Skip buying this.
