Question: | Is there something that can mute the symbol |
Answer: | not with this set. You would have to purchase symbol mutes seperately ;( |

Answer: | 2.75 millimeters or ~0.5 centimeters thick |
Question: | My two hanging toms have sizes of 10" and 12", will these still work |
Answer: | The 12" pad will work with the 12" tom, but you'll need to purchase a separate pad for the 10", or if you're not using the 13" or 14" pad you could cut it down to size. |
Question: | Why do they smell so badly? Any way to solve the issue |
Answer: | Not sure why they smell like tires or have a chemical odor (maybe because its rubber?). It does seem to smell less almost 2 weeks later but they do still smell. Not sure if washing will help but it's worth a shot. |

User questions & answers
Question: | is the black double pad 2 separate pads or one single wide pad |
Answer: | Hi,,,i don't use the silent strokes on my snare i use a Rtom Black hole it is a drop on snare head and sits about an inch away from the head and has a rubber lip...i play my snare flat so i rim shot a lot and with the remo i would hit the rim this drop on works better for my style,, i do use all remo silents on the toms and the kicks and they work out great...Hope this helped a little |
Question: | Would this patch work on mesh heads (V-Drums |
Answer: | You should be able to do that. |
Question: | How big are these |
Answer: | The metal U-shaped hoop on a bass drum mesh head projects out farther from the edge of the head itself, and is also taller than the flatter metal hoop of a tom head. The bass drum head won't fit within an 18-inch metal tom rim. I found this out the hard way when I ordered Roland PowerPly (also made by Remo) mesh heads for my two acoustic kits. They don't make an 18-inch PowerPly tom head, so I ordered an 18-inch bass drum head, thinking it would work on a tom. It didn't. So that's why I bought the 1-ply 18-inch Remo Silentstroke. The PowerPlys are better and stronger 2-ply heads (though more expensive), made just like the Roland mesh heads for V-drums. But since I don't use the 18-inch tom that much, the Silentstroke's thinner 1-ply head shouldn't be a problem. Note: The Roland PowerPly mesh heads are not yet available in the U.S. (at least they weren't when I ordered mine in September). I had to order them from drum-tec in Germany (I live in Iowa), which worked just fine (only needing to pay a $26 duty fee to UPS when they arrived, and the 25-euro ($26 U.S. dollars) shipping fee to drum-tec). If you're just using the mesh heads for quiet practice on an acoustic kit, they work great. And if you want to use them to convert your acoustic kit into a hybrid kit by using drum triggers like the new Roland RT-30 series triggers and a decent Roland sound module, they turn your acoustic kit into a great-souding electronic kit that has the great look of your acoustic kit. (Don't worry, I'm just a drummer, not a Roland salesman.) I've played acoustic kits for the last 50 years and electronic kits for the last 12 years. And now I can use my 1969 Slingerland kit or my 2002 DW kit as either. Hope this helps. |
Question: | title says clear plastic, description says black, which is it |
Answer: | Yes these will work on your Alesis kit. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How is the drumhead affixed to the bass |
Answer: | The sound will not be as crisp. The brushes are made more for something like a beat box. They are extremely heavy. |
Question: | What exactly included in tis purchase? Does this include the drumhead, the foot pedal, and drum mute |
Answer: | Hi there, they are 36cm or 14 inches long |
Question: | I want to use this for a resonant head, is the possible?. I just hate the look of no head up front |
Answer: | Hi Fred, I think they would be too soft for an electronic kit. You would probably be better off with a pair of Vater Percussion Splash Sticks... you would get more response and more... "bite". |
Question: | Does it come with the foot pedal |
Answer: | It's a pair, great tool. Can make it sound soft or hard with the rubber bands it comes with. Would buy again!!! |

User questions & answers
Question: | What sizes do these come in |
Answer: | It goes on the same way as any other kick drum head. It looks exactly like a regular drum head, just black mesh. It’s a good bass drum head, well worth it, if you’re looking for volume reduction. |
Question: | helo is this evans white or clear |
Answer: | It's a drum head. It doesn't go over anything, you have to completely replace the entire beater head on your bass drum with this. That's all it comes with, no pedal, no mute. Once it's on, your bass drum is extremely quiet, with comparable kick feel (but not the same, with no audible sound if you're wearing ear protection, which can be a detriment to practicing). |
Question: | Are these "clear" (aka transparent) or are they white |
Answer: | I suppose you could use it as a resonant head, but I can't imagine it would function nearly as good as a traditional rest head. These heads have a nice sleek look to them, so it would look good in front. |
Question: | Are they clear |
Answer: | of course it does. and the throne, snare drum, toms and cymbals. All for $32.99. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would I need to by this twice for top and bottom heads? Sorry, I'm a new drummer |
Answer: | No, the top “beater” heads are different then the bottom resonate heads., you should not use beater heads as resonate heads unless you looking for a completely strange sounding kit; typically the resonate heads seldom need changing at all just tune them correctly and you should be good to go, usually but not always the beater and resonate heads that are shipped with a NEW kit are not the best, but as a new drummer you can beat the hell out of them as practice then change them out for some quality heads.. hope this helps |
Question: | Good for metal |
Answer: | Yeah. The Tom heads have a real nice fat sound. I used Evans on both my 5 1/2 inch 1967 Ludwig Supraphonic snare and my 6 1/2 Ludwig custom maple snare and then dial it in with Moon Gel if the house requires a dampened sound. Used to use Remo heads for years but really like Evans for their versatility and fat sound. |
Question: | Are these good for toms while playing rock |
Answer: | ABSOLUTELY! What I really like is, I am considered a fairly hard hitter, and after my gig is over the heads still look BRAND NEW! I use them on all my toms 10"12"14"and16" and they have the warmest sound to me... Would recommend! |
Question: | Evans has now revamped all of their heads with a new 360 fit design. I need to know if the ones you have in stock are this model and not older prod |
Answer: | Since the model numbers are remaining the same, there doesn't seem to be a way to tell (here or elsewhere). I have gone back to picking up heads in store, until this is fixed, admittedly at a much higher cost. The 360s are that much better, worth the hassle, and I have been a remo guy for 20+ years. |

Product description
The Evans G14 series is the loudest, most durable single-ply drum head on the market. Crafted using premium quality film that is 14mil thick instead of the industry standard 10mil, the G14 delivers unprecedented durability without losing the strong dynamic response of a single-ply drumhead. Ideal for use in high-volume performance situations, the G14 can withstand heavy playing while projecting through the mix to provide a full, aggressive sound. The G14 is available in both clear and coated white versions, sizes 6 - 20 inches. Evans' proprietary white coating provides additional warmth of tone while the clear version provides a full frequency response for maximum projection. For over 40 years, Evans has been a pioneer of drum head manufacturing and design. Known for innovative designs such as EMAD, EC2S, and the Hydraulic series, Evans drum heads are made in the USA in a state of the art manufacturing facility. Acquired in 1996 by D'Addario and Company, the global leader in musical instrument accessories, the Evans brand is synonymous with quality and consistency.

Product description
Evans improved EC2 drumheads contain Evans' exclusive and patented Sound Shaping Technology (SST). Sound Shaping Technology allows the drumheads to be fully optimized for each individual size by varying the thickness and density of the damping material, ensuring greatly improved performance and tone across the entire kit. Unlike other heads that lack SST, Evans EC2s contain the ability to balance attack and tone for each size. The result is a drumhead series fine-tuned for attack, tone, length of sustain, and ease of tuning. Packed with a more balanced and pre-EQ'd sound across the full kit, the Evans EC2 with SST will make your toms sound better than you ever thought possible.
From the Manufacturer
Evans Rock Tom Pack (10", 12", 16") clear EC2 two-ply drum heads with Edge Control technology provide a pre-EQ sound via a damping technique that insures optimized performance for each individually sized drum head.
Evans EC2 series features two plies of 7mil film with optimized attack, tone, length of sustain and ease of tuning for each size head. The Sound Shaping Technology (SST) Edge Control ring mounted on the underside delivers an extremely well balanced and pre-EQ'd sound across the full kit by varying the size of the ring for each different head size.

User questions & answers
Question: | What's the difference between the clear and coated versions?i have g1 resonant heads, will these sound good combined? looking for that hard rock/metal |
Answer: | These aren't what you'd traditionally call "coated"..they're frosted, a thinner type of coating, making them translucent, but not 100% clear. More attack but less tone. I play rock/hard rock also, and use the clear ec2's with g1 clear reso's. |
Question: | Does it come with a set for the bottom of the drum |
Answer: | It does not come with them per say, but Evans does make resonant heads in that line. But you must buy those separately. |
Question: | is this the level |
Answer: | Yes. |
Question: | Could I tune these to sound like the Toms from the openening of chop suey! By System of a Down, if I add some dampening / would I need dampening |
Answer: | Yes you could. These heads are meant for metal! Lots of punch, and durable asf! Dampening prolly on the floor tom if your by yourself. But in a band, I wouldn’t dampen anything but the bass drum. 🤘🏻 |

User questions & answers
Question: | My toms are 10.5, 12.5, and 16.8 will these work |
Answer: | They cover both Tom toms floor Tom and snare |
Question: | are these level |
Answer: | Absolutely ... for a dryer sound, lower your bottom head: do not remove bottom head! The remo clear pinstripe are excellent for rock, praise and worship, and jazz. Be sure and get the frosted snare drum head. |
Question: | I notice it say Pack. Is it one of each size or two for both heads of a drum |
Answer: | I'm actually a beginner myself but played with them on and off and what a have found is that I like the sound better with the bottom heads off. It's a little work to get all of the nut holders off. Just do one, one of the toms, take the lower skin off and see if you like the sound better than the other Tom. |
Question: | How much would these resonant on 12 and 16 inch if I put a G1 clear on the 12 and 16 inch as reso heads |
Answer: | Some kits measure the diameter including the rim around the head. do not be fooled these are 10 inch, 12 inch and 16 inches. They are measuring the shell and rim at the widest part, not the size of the top surface of the drum head. but the layout is not common and will be hard to find 3 packs sold like that, i saw them in a few brands, but this is not a match for you. look for 10, 12 and 16. |
