Answer:	I got a “Promate Optical Corrective Scuba Dive Snorkeling Mask Prescription Lenses”. Cost starts at $20 USD and I needed the prescription lenses so it cost about $55. This is the only snorkeling mask I’ve purchased so I can’t compare it, but I got it recommended by a friend. There are more expensive masks with full view/incorporated snorkel/other features, but I don’t use this very often, so this was sufficient. If you don’t have it already, or you won’t be on a trip with someone else who has it, you will need an anti fog product for the interior of the mask. If you haven’t purchased the snorkel yet, keep in mind that the ocean is full of dark colors and bright reflections so a black, grey, or clear snorkel won’t be very visible to others when it’s all that’s above the water. Fluorescent colors on the snorkel tip show most easily. I hope that helps.

Answer:	I have not tried the snorkel with that type of swim mask but anticipate you would not run into problems using the snorkel with a mask that covers your nose as well.

Answer:	That's the purpose of the snorkel- and this one works well even if you dive under and do need to hold your breath- it won't fill with water.

Answer:	The top has a plastic float that will rise with the water level. The air intake is at the top on the inside so when the plastic float rises it will plug the air intake hole. This is a very effective design but it's not perfect so this snorkel also has a purge valve that lets spit and water out without having to blow water out the top tube like a whale. Between the purge valve and the dry top, this is a feature loaded snorkel at a very reasonable price. Please note that wile a wave is going over the snorkel, you will not be able to breathe through the tube at all but you wouldn't be able to with a regular snorkel either. This is a prime choice for free divers aswell as snorkelers.

Answer:	It isn't made to be replaceable but I guess one could cut it off and put another one on the tube if one wanted to. To get a true seal, some kind of glue/sealant would have to be used. I would suggest buying a new one if the old one were to wear out.
