| Answer: | I don't have either of those guitars but just looking at my case, I think it will hold them. The limitation would likely be the height from the floor of the unit to the top where there are slots for the guitar necks to slide into. Right now, I have plenty of room between the guitar bodies and the top except for my Seagull acoustic which only has about 2 inches from the body to the top of the unit. With the explorer you could probably position it so the horn by the neck will stick out of the case and not be limited to the height. The warlock would likely be a tighter fit but not a problem. | Answer: | Graig, not sure I would recommend for the Jag body shape. I use mine with a Les Paul, a Gibson 335, Fender Tele all fine but when I place the Strat on it I get pretty nervous. If you don't get the Strat "just right" it seems a bit unstable. Overall the stand is OK (I got it mainly because it folds nicely into on of my gear cases) but I prefer my other stands which supports neck, YMMV. Just my POV, hope it is helpful. |

There are 3/4 sized guitars which sound pretty decent for beginners, and also there are cutaways and double cutaways (Yamaha for example) with thinner bodies that make it easier for a child or small adult to learn. Also ask about the "scale" of the guitar. Regular scale is 25.5 inches, but slightly shorter guitars will be easier for children and small adults to play. I recommend that you buy a brand name, as well. If the guitar is well-made, the person is more likely to stay with it and end up learning to play the guitar. |

I do not know what your playing level easy, but if you are a beginner the Fender would be the best choice. Once you progress, and improve on your playing ability, then you would be in a better position see if you are going to stick with it and purchase the more expensive guitar. Always purchase based on your budget. If you are purchasing using a credit card and it puts you further in debt would it really be worth it? |
