Answer:	Mine certainly did come with AC adapter. It can not function without. It’s a great device. I wish it had an on/off switch. I unplug the power cord from the rear of the unit as the AC adapter is plugged into a Monster voltage protector with the other audio gear so to me it’s just easier this way.

Answer:	Yes. That is exactly why I purchased this device. It mixes four sources to one output. If you just have passive speakers, you will need amplifier, but probably your "set of speakers" does include amplifier.

Answer:	apparently Amazon confused the description. There is a Rolls MX51 and a Rolls MX51s. The non-s has 1/4" inputs and mixes to mono. The "s" model had 1/8" input and XLR input and mixes stereo.

Answer:	No, it’s one or the other. There is a two position switch to choose.

Answer:	No. You can plug in your headphone directly in the unit. It requires a 1/4 jack. If you are broadcasting live, you need to plug your headphone directly to the source you are broadcasting to, ie: computer mixer audio board output, otherwise you will get feedback, in this case, plugging to the Pyle unit won't help you. The Pyle unit's headphone jack will only let you hear the sound being mixed in the unit.

Answer:	The amp does a decent job with my turntable - you'll need to play with the volume and balance a little to get it where you like it, but it works well.

There is a pre-amp in the unit that will power a headset or connect to an external amplifier. If your mics have 1/4 inch plugs, your set-up should work OK without additional equipment. If your mics have three-prong plugs, you might want to find a mixer that does have phantom power on at least two of the inputs (but not all). That would accommodate both instrument and vocal without more equipment or connections (which is why there are contrary remarks). Hope this helps.

Answer:	it does not have onboard digital effects. I use it to mix drums and use outboard effects boxes (DBX compression etc) I really appreciate its silence and transparency. Answer:	I’m assuming you would go with your DJ controller into this unit, then you could send the out to the sub and PA speaker. You might also be able to run a separate aux out to the sub and just give it more when you need to. Personally I would get a mackie 802 before I buy this.
