Answer:	tge condenser mic's are very strong and will pick up all your cymbals except the high hat

Answer:	no, you will need 2 boom stands and a kick drum stand

Question:	Exactly what kind of cables do you need to buy to plug these mics into a mixer or audio interface device
Answer:	Whether or not your mixer has built in effects (FX) or not would be a determining factor of whether you'd want to run directly into the mixer or not. If your mixer does not have FX buying those would be your next step. If your mixer does have FX you should add some amount of compression and a noise gate to each drum. You will want to EQ each drum individually (every room is different for getting a good mix. And mic placement, even if different by only an inch plays a big role in the final product, so play with mic placement). I will generally pan each channel slightly left or right depending on which side of the drumset the mic is on, that way you get a more true stereo sound in the room. Purchasing something like "Moon Gel" or "Drum Dots" is a must; the toms will have natural over tone and placing the gel in different positions on the head can really help make the toms punch. Really dial in the EQ on the pair of overhead mics, that's where alot of your sound is going to come from (especially for getting cymbals into the mix). There's lots more you can do to alter the sound with different FXs in order to make it sound good, but that's just a list of some basic things I normally do. Micing and mixing drums can be a daunting task, but just like playing an instrument, practice makes perfect.

I am really satisfied with the CAD Audio Stage 7 premium mics set.

Question:	Does it need Phantom Power
Answer:	There is no Hi-Hat condenser mic per say, it would be the snare mic that would pick up the Hi-Hats. The snare mic clips on like the other tom mics do and that is to the rim of the drums. Only the two condenser mics are phantom powered and they too would be picking up the Hi-Hats and the other cymbals as well. The bass drum mic requires a stand which isn't included in this package.
Question:	Do I need to buy anything else to use the mics
Answer:	You would need to connect the microphone cables to an audio mixer in order to use the microphones. You will need a mixer with phantom power to use these microphones. Thanks for your interest.

Answer:	No cables. On another note the Cad's have a nice sound, but the clamps are terrible. I had to duct tape the clamps to the rims and drums. I used them once then purchased the Shure set with three sm57's and the bass mic. Cost around 350-400 depending where you purchase but the clamps that come in the Shure set are heavy duty and sturdy. Worth the extra dollars!

Answer:	Like the others said, cables are not included. I ended up buying a six pack of the colored GLS Audio XLR cables and then added one more single. These mics have been excellent so far.
Question:	Do I need to buy a stand for the bass mic
Answer:	Actually you would need 2 short boom stands, and 1 tall boom stand. It would not hurt to also get 4 sennhieser mzh604 drum clamp for e604. The clamps that come with these mics are poorly made . That's the only bad thing about these mics . Other than that these mics rock!
Question:	I bought this and cant fit the clips for the condenser mics onto a standard mic stand (either 5/8 or 3/8). What am I missing
Answer:	Well there is an adapter inside that makes it fit the smaller diameter stands and the larger ones when you take it out. Unless your stands are not the standard size or there was a defect in manufacturing then it should fit. Post some pics if the stand you are using along with the mic clips and everything. Question:	What kind of recording device to I need to hook the mics into? I have never really looked into recording drums
Answer:	You could use any mixer/interface with multiple XRL inputs. To record each input as a separate track (which you will want to do to get a better quality drum recording), you'll want a USB or firewire interface. For a cheap multitrack recording program, you can look into Reaper, and some interfaces even come with their own programs. I hope this helps! Best of luck.

Question:	Are the clips for the microphones metal or plastic? Do they seem durable
Answer:	The Focusrite 18i8 only has 4 mic inputs. You would need something with 7 mic inputs and phantom power for the two condenser mics. A larger mixer or something like the Behringer XR16 would do the job.
Question:	Does this come with cords
Answer:	No, they will work without phantom power.

GENERAL RULES FOR MICROPHONE USE

1. Aim the microphone toward the desired sound source and away from unwanted sources. This may not be obvious or intuitive, Since Supercardioid microphones such as the microphone have narrow pickup patterns and can pick up sounds from the rear. Refer to Figure 1 on the following page 2. Place the microphone as close as practical to the desired sound source (refer to the table in the opposite column) 3. Work close to the microphone for extra bass response 4. Use only one microphone to pick up a single sound source 5. Use the fewest number of microphones as practical 6. Keep multiple microphones separated by a distance equal to at least 3X the distance to the nearest sound source 7. Place mics as far as possible from reflective surfaces 8. Use a windscreen when using the microphone outdoors.

Question:	How much space is required to set this kit up comfortably for a young player (10)? 3 ft x 3 ft.? 4 x 4? Something in between. And please, I understand
Answer:	Give yourself about 6’ by 6’ to be sure you or your kid are comfortable...
Question:	Will this work with the video game Rock Band
Answer:	For Xbox One and Rock Band 4 you will need an Xbox 360 MIDI adapter and a PDP Wired Legacy Adapter, the latter of which is about $700 due to its rarity. For Xbox 360 and Rock Band 1-3, you just need the MIDI adapter mentioned previously. The MIDI out on the drums plugs into the MIDI in on the adapter, the adapter plugs into the Xbox (or PDP wired legacy adapter for Xbox One) via USB, and then you set specific MIDI notes to the pads via the Alesis module or use a pre-existing setup that works.
Question:	What kind of acessories do I have to buy to have the set operational? I mean cables, amp and things like this
Answer:	Throne (drum seat), pair of headphones with 1/4" jack or more likely a normal pair of 1/8" headphones + an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter (less than $10 on Amazon. Since this has seperate L and R outputs, I also got a dual L/R 1/4" to single 1/8" steareo adapter to ensure it plays in both ears. Also, I would highly suggest an amp whether or not you plan on using headphones. This thing is very low power and sound is very soft with headohones--plug kit into amp and headphones into amp headphone output.
Question:	I cannot place the new model side-by-side and compare. What’s the difference between them

The only difference between the Nitro Kit and Nitro Mesh Kit is that the Nitro Mesh Kit includes mesh heads, which provide both a more realistic feel to playing acoustic drums, and it also allows for softer sounding hits.
