JAWBOX was formed in Washington, DC in 1989 by guitarist/vocalist J. ROBBINS, bassist KIM COLETTA, and drummer ADAM WADE. The trio released their debut 7" in 1990 as a split between Dischord Records and their own label, DeSoto. Over the next three years, Jawbox put out two albums and three 7" singles. Grippe, released in '91, was the band's first full-length. Second guitarist/singer BILL BARBOT joined the line-up in time to record '92's Novelty. Both albums were released on Dischord. ZACH BAROCAS took over drumming duties that same year, performing on For Your Own Special Sweetheart, which was released in 1994 on Atlantic Records. Recorded in Hoboken, NJ with JOHN AGNELLO in winter of 1995, Jawbox was the band's fourth and final album. If Sweetheart presented the band's music in a straightforward and unembellished state, Jawbox found the group more open to experimentation. Arrangement-wise, it contains some of the band's densest compositions ("Chinese Fork Tie"), but also some of it's most concise and tuneful songwriting ("Excandescent"). While the basic tracks were recorded more or less live, the songs were later augmented with sounds-toy drum kit, Hammond B3 organ, and saxophone-that were outside of the band's established palate. Long out of print, Jawbox has been remastered on LP by DAN COUTANT at Sunroom Audio and is reissued by Dischord and DeSoto Records.

If you have a trailer without brakes, and you want to add them, this kit has what you will need. This kit fits standard 3500# axle, either Spring or Torsion, EZ lube or Standard. In addition, you should see a small square plate welded to the axle tube, with 4 holes, (to bolt the brake plate to) and your axle tube will be about 2 1/4" OD. If you have a 2.75" axle tube, it is the larger 5200, 6000, or 7000# axle, and if you have the smaller 1-5/8" axle tube, it has the smaller 2000/2200# axle

Answer:	No, you need the 6000# set, and you MUST have the 25580 inner bearing in your current hub (1-3/4") for that kit to work

Answer:	I would imagine so. I recently ordered this, put it together and found out my snare came without the snare wires. I sent them an email (via amazon's contact the seller option) and they responded back in less than the expected timeframe. I just sent a couple pictures of the snare, explained the situation and they replied back stating that they would ship a proper snare back out to me.

Answer:	My 3 year old granddaughter took to it like a duck to water. She never saw drums before, but just seemed to know what to do. I also bought a set for my 4 year old granddaughter. She has had a harder time using both hands at the same time, but she enjoys playing them every day. They are just so cute on those drums, I can hardly stand it. Best of all, both drum sets are at their homes. But I am thinking of getting another set for them to play when they come to my house.

Answer:	Yes, the stool comes with the set. The drums sound good, better than expected, but the cymbal is pretty lame. My grandson loves it (birthday present) and so do his sisters!

Answer:	Measure the inner bearing shaft size and the 5 bolt pattern on the electronic brake assemble is universal. The outer bearing is tapered so that will work holding the drum on. I believe I have a Dexter 7000lb axle and they fit.
Question:	what is the distance between the mounting holes? the 5 that attach the backing plate to the axle flange
Answer:	they are arranged on a 3.88" bolt circle.
Question:	Are bearing 11/4" outer and 13/8" inner
Answer:	No, 1-3/4 x 1-3/4". They really do not make a hub with those bearings. The Dexter 4400# axle does, but that is a rare axle, and 6 bolt only, with 10" brakes
