Question:	In answer to the question about mouthpiece fitment the Leblanc contra alto and contra bass have the same bore diameter and neck receiver
Answer:	I have washed it a couple of times since having it and have not noticed any fading, although it does get softer 

Answer:	The top is plastic sort of but soft so yes underneath there’s a little bit of material with as a liner but I don’t see why you couldn’t spray it and disinfect it I don’t do it because I use it at home and only clean the top side

Answer:	hi. In the standard series YCL - 255 is plastic, YCL - 450 is wooden (Granadilla). The 650 here also uses the luxury Granadilla which is the same wood grazeila and is more carefully selected. The wood is natural, so individual differences are a certain thing, but the tone is better if the quality is better wood. The tube of natural finish which made use of wood grain has beautiful .thanks!

Answer:	ABS is the same thing that LEGO's are made from and is a very hard thermoplastic when used in the proper temperature ranges. My daughter had to get a replacement as the keys that they use didn't adhere quite well to the unit itself but the second one seems to be holding up. Recommended for 2 -3 year middle school or maybe high school level, but if the student is anything like my daughter, at the frequency used, if you are looking for a one time through school purchase 5 years+ then this is not the one. :)

Answer:	Anna: Honestly I don’t know how it compares; however I was looking for a decent product that wouldn’t break the family budget so I gave it a shot. The product was more than adequate for my beginner musician everything, was as advertised, no quality issues, and no complaints from kiddo or the more demanding music teacher. Soo I was 100% satisfied. Now if you’re in the market for an experienced player I would suggest something else as - the sky’s the limit. Hope this helps!!!

Answer:	Good afternoon, Thanks you very much for your question regarding the Yamaha 450 clarinet. I prefer that a beginning student even a second year student, use a plastic or resonite clarinet. The Yamaha model 255, 250 200-Advantage or Model 20. are excellent. There are many other models: Selmer has an entire line of clarinets. Buffet are excellent. These clarinet have a decent sound and are very very durable and more affordabke. You do not have to worry about them cracking due to moisture. The wooden clarinets are made with an African wood called grenadilla wood. These are quality instruments that require a great deal of care. They can crack when not swabbed after each use-due to moisture. Thank you, Douglashenry
