Question: | What kind of wood is this made out of? Is it laminated wood |
Answer: | Yes, laminated wood for the body. |
Question: | How's the sound quality when playing with the bow (arco)? Is there good spacing between the strings near the bridge |
Answer: | My son said the spacing is good. The sound quality is good for a beginner's cello. We had to replace the tail gut however. |
Question: | Need the weight and dimensions of shipping box |
Answer: | These are approximates but when I bought it the box was about 5'x3' due to syrofoam in the box and it is VERY light! Under 20 pounds. Hope this helps. |
Question: | Can the end pin be pulled all the way out of the cello |
Answer: | Yes it can. I actually do not have this cello anymore. I can also say that what you spend on it is what you get. I was pleased with it when I first got I but after a few months it broke and cost too much to fix and I ended up buying a 'real' cello. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I am beginning to learn the violin and just bought this one. I was wondering how to properly attach the shoulder rest that came with it |
Answer: | The shoulder rest goes on the back of the violin. The sides of the shoulder rest should pull straight out. Then tighten them back to fit the violin. Hope this helps |
Question: | how do you know what size violin to get |
Answer: | When you hold a violin your left hand should be able to reach the end of the finger board with a slight bend in the elbow. Or if you can't hold a violin to judge the fit and order online, like I did, 4/4 or full is normally for adults and as the sizes go down..2/4, 3/4, etc then they are for younger ages. Hope that helps a little |
Question: | Does this violin come with a blanket to separate it from the bow or is that bought separately |
Answer: | It does not come with a blanket. |
Question: | Is this one of the types of violins that is just sprayed over the top, or is it actually finished |
Answer: | Yes just sprayed fake. |
