Answer:	Actually, when we received the trumpet, I had already understood that the reviews were strong, but, we're extremely happy with the instrument. My son who is an intermediate player showed it to his instructor who is was very impressed, especially for the price. In fact, he felt the quality was close to his trumpet which he paid $1,800 for. Bottom line, we're very happy to say the least.

Answer:	Mine arrived just fine..came in a Gemeinhardt box and each flute part was individually covered. Not damage to the cases either. Very happy with it.

Answer:	Yes, flutes are in the key of C. What Amazon is talking about is the actual G key (the button on the flute you press to play a G). This particular flute has an off-set G-key as opposed to being in-line with the rest of the keys.
Question:	Is it loud
Answer:	No, it's not considered a "handmade" flute, even though there is a lot of hand workmanship in making it. This is considered a "factory made" flute. "Handmade" flutes are 10X as expensive. The term handmade typically refers more to the level of the flute than to the actual manufacturing process though. Its not like this flute is made by robots on an assembly line like a car is, but it is also not made as slowly as a professional flute costing $10,000, of course. That being said, a really good intermediate flute like this gets 90% of the performance quality of a professional flute. I could play one at Carnegie Hall and no one would notice, though I'd probably perform a tiny bit better with my professional flute.

However, the noise it made was so obnoxious that I hid it from my grandson, then actually threw it away because it sounded SO horrible. And a child will just blow it and blow it. Answer:	It’s a quality instrument for the price. No it has not exploded, the keys have not gotten stuck, and there hasn’t been any physical damage to the instrument.

Answer:	No. Unless you have small hands, holding a trumpet should be no problem for you.

Answer:	I am a band director with 10 years of experience and a masters degree in music education. DO NOT BUY THIS INSTRUMENT. It is poorly made and may work for a short time, but once something goes wrong no repair shops will be able to fix it. I have a 6th grade student currently trying to play on one of these pieces of junk and every time he tries to blow in to it, the tuning slide falls out, frustrating the boy and making it impossible to play. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship-- stick with a reputable brand like Yamaha or Conn/Selmer when purchasing instruments. They may cost a little more, but I still have the same Yamaha trumpet I started on as a 5th grader in 1994 and it still works like its brand new.
