Question:	How to update firmware
Answer:	Insert power, press and hold the pedal footswitch, the LED light would be flashed red and green quickly. Then release the pedal footswitch and connect USB, the light will turn to RED. Delete the old firmware (.bin format file) from the U disk (LOOPER DISK) and put the new firmware in it. Press the footswitch once, and the light will turn green. After the light turns off, the firmware has been updated successfully. Insert power and it will work again.

Answer:	You can do either. Set the pitch correction to a specific key or just let it adjust automatically. I have found the auto feature works the best.
Question:	Does it come with the power supply
Answer:	According to the manual, 80 secs. I haven't used the looper for more than 20 secs yet.
Question:	Could I use the pedals built in without looping
Answer:	The VE-8 comes with an AC power supply, but that is only for the secondary to the back of the unit. You would need to get an AC converter or step-up transformer, from 120VAC to 220VAC, on the primary, for operation outside the U.S.
Question:	Can you loop your voice and guitar at the same time
Answer:	W Ng - I set up the Boss VE-8 differently than most, and it isn't hands free, but it is very effective. I have been using the unit live at gigs for over a year now. I cannot afford the time between songs to navigate the pedal on the ground with the different vocal and guitar effects I use (harmonies, vocal reverb, some guitar effects, etc). So I have the pedal sitting on a stand in front of me waist high (I stand). This allows me to make simple adjustments between songs by hand. I also have the Boss FS-7 foot switch set up ($60.00 on Amazon). This sits on the ground, and I am able to turn harmonies on and off during a song while continuing to play. Would also work switching on or off a guitar effect, the looper, etc. This system works very well live, and I waste very little time between songs with adjustments. i absolutely love this unit by the way.

Answer:	The PC recognizes the USB connection as a MIDI interface, which can be used to switch between patches.
Question:	Can you delete only the previous loop that you recorded instead of the whole loop
Answer:	No you can not delete part of a loop. In some other loopers you can undo one or more previous loops, but with the G1on you can not. When you delete a loop that was made on top of a a rhythm loop all the loops get deleted. It kind of sucks! This is about the only fault I can find w/ the G1on.
Question:	I just bought a digitech-360 and found out i can't use the looper with the drum machine.. can you use the drums with the looper on this unit
Answer:	Yes you can select a drum pattern and start playing it, then switch to looper mode and record while playing to the drum sounds. The drum sounds don't get recorded though, but you can play to the beat unlike the digitech 360.
Question:	whats the difference between this and spending hundreds on different pedals
Answer:	Lol! A lot, and not that much. This makes for an excellent practice pedal/tone lab. It's perfect for trying out different sounds and pedal combos and learning about basic signal path for FX. Some people even gig with this unit, though the G3X and G5X are considered more "Pro. Grade" though they have basically the same FX engine. Picking, buying, and building your own custom boutique pedal board is also rewarding and can provide some more unique and better quality FX... But you can literally spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Plus you'll need to try out the different pedals and build out a board. But individual pedals does give you flexibility DURING a performance. Note that the G1Xon has only two stomps and a wah. (Look at the manual, it's more complicated than that.) But basically (tl:dr) if you already know what sounds you want and you're a professional, spend hundreds on different pedals. If you want to experiment with different tone/FX and are primarily rehearsing and doing house of worship & coffee houses, buy the G1Xon.

Answer:	I plan on purchasing this item and will be happy to respond w/ an actual answer. I don't understand why it's easier for some people to complain rather than assist. Answer:	I think it should work IF you have a high impedance mic with a 1/4” phone plug at cable end. The input impedance spec is 1Meg ohm as are many guitar amp inputs.

Answer:	I use multi fx also and I wanted to be able to change the sound and loop so I put it last in line... BTW... love the pedal... I use it playing out.

Answer:	Yes. When your loop is playing, double-click the button and it will stop; the LED will flash green. Clicking the button again will start the loop at the beginning.
Question:	Hi, if I lay down a 1-bar loop, will the Ditto let me record, say, an 8-bar overdub and multiply the original loop 8 times to match
Answer:	nope, if you overdub 8 times over a 1 bar loop the overdubs will layer one-on-top-of-the-other over that 1 bar. You would have to record the base loop as an 8 bar, press stop, and then overdub over the 8 bar loop that you created.
Question:	What powers this looper, 9V battery, 110ac plug in? Is everything included to make it work out of the box
