Answer:	You can connect a microphone using a 1/4" connection, however it may not give you the proper amount of volume. May be easier to connect to a pre-amp first, before running to the HX Stomp.

Answer:	They are the same quality as the dl4 which is older than the DD-7. The plain digital delays sound the same maybe a little less low end. I think Boss has the best dotted eighth notes but the M5 has some great recreations

Answer:	use gain or level or whatever parameter that is the same as how potent the effect is on the signal. Volume Gain Intensity and whatever else are PROPERTIES of a WAVE (IF YOU SHRINK THAT WAVE THE EFFECT IS MINIMIZED). Have you seen a SINGLE WAVE OSCILLATOR it looks like a TV with a round screen and shows one wave. I hope that helps.

Start/Stop Modes

It has very useful and stop modes for making your jam sounds like an arranged song during the performance. There are 2 Start Modes and 3 Stop Modes;

Normal Recording - Classic hit and play looper action.

Auto-Recording - Hit the foot switch first, JTC Pro will stand by until you hit the guitar strings. And it will start to record with no delay when you hit the first notes. You can wait as long as you want, until you feel ready to play.

Press and hold the Stop Modes button, and select the start mode; (Ar) Auto-Recording, (Nr) Normal Recording

Stop Mode

After you record a track, you can simply push the Stop Modes button, and choose one of the modes to finish your performance the way you like.

Normal Stop - Double hit to Loop footswitch and the looping track will stop immediately.

Fine Stop - Double hit: The track will play until the end then it will stop, don't forget to hit finishing chord after it stop.

Fade Out - The track volume will be decreased to 0 slowly in 10 seconds then it will stop.

ONE-SHOT Mode

One Shot mode for playing any loaded backing track without looping. You can load any song to play along, the supported file type is 24-bit 44.1 kHz Stereo Wave (.wav).

Answer:	Press FX Unit 1B and 2B switches at the same time to enter the setup menu. Press the Model Select knob until the display reads MIDI Gate Display across the top. Turn the Model Select knob until the corresponding display shows RST FACT. Press and hold the TAP button just before (split second) pressing the Model Select knob. Its like pressing them down at the same time, but making sure the TAP button is pressed first. Do that once again to reset the M9. Question:	How would you compare this to the tc electronics nova system
Answer:	This pedal doesn't really compare with the nova system.The sounds are comparable, the way the foot pedal works is completely different you get six independent effects you can turn on and off like a stomp box on the nova system. the TC electronics pedal and M9 pedal are comparable in build quality. personal preference on which one sounds better. TC electronics nova system is for the gigging musician and this one may work well for some but not for me. M9 has collected dust in the corner.I bring my nova system to pretty much every gig a play.

Answer:	It's a USB A to USB B. It is a standard printer cable size. It's the same style cord used to plug into a Line 6 amps.

Answer:	This controller is not compatible with the HD147. It's best to use the FBV Express MKII or FBV Shortboard MKII.
