Answer:	TRS does not work - it has a TR connector only....never us a 1/4 cable splitter with a guitar - the impedance will not match and you will have problems with volume

I note that another reviewer says that it's not a true bypass.....maybe I don't understand the term, but as far as I can tell, what goes in goes through with no modification.

Question:	Where is this pedal best placed in a chain
Answer:	It did not sound good on my 15-year old, solid-state, Ibanez Wholeone 80w, 24" speaker, Jazz amp. But, that does not mean it is not any good. My amp solid-state amp does not like all pedals. And, I have also heard that pedals work best on tube amps, and you may have to turn up the volume loud to get the sound and tone you want. Don't give up yet, because, you can always try it, and if you do not like the tones, then send it back. Amazon is an excellent company to send items back with no hazels. Keep in mind that this pedal supposedly gets a big Fender "Tube Amp" sound from a little box. Will it really do that with your home amp? Only you can decide that with it connected to your equipment. Question:	Is the output signal strong enough to drive headphones or will i need a preamp or the monitor output on my usb interface
Answer:	This would technically "work", but not too loudly, and assuming your headphones are stereo, it would only produce sound in one ear unless you use a mono adapter on your headphone plug to make it mono in both ears. The headphones would also need to be lower Ohm to be even remotely usable -- like 32 Ohm. Out of curiosity, I actually just tried it with my 80 Ohm headphones, and got a little bit of sound out of the left side only. But the bottom line is that this isn't how the device is meant to be used (is more of a hack), and while you'd technically get sound out of it, the sound quality would be low with little headroom. The output is really meant for a mono instrument cable to some sort of power amp, like an actual guitar amp, PA system, or computer.

Answer:	Although I do not own a Galileo Booster, I do own several Catalinbread pedals. Due to the high-quality manufacture I've never encountered any issues with them. I recommend going to their website and either contacting them about the problem or see if you can download an operator's manual.

Answer:	I play a Marshall Vintage Modern 50 watt 2x12” combo. It stock runs a pair of KT66 tubes and for all intents and purposes is a modernized JTM 45 with a few options that weren’t on the original and the extra features can be utilized or not. It has an extra, switchable gain stage, it has an optional mid boost and an effects loop. As it does differ from the JTM 45 in one respect that some claim disqualifies it from being compared to the JTM 45, a Master Volume feature. This amp further has the ability to dial in the preamp gain with a pair of gain knobs, one for the low end gain and one for the high end gain. What is cool is that one can dial it in spot on with the preamp gain structure like the old JTM 45 had with its static preamp gain and the result is that it sounds and responds like a JTM 45. I have a vintage JTM 45 too and that’s why I know this. My point...running the aforementioned Caitlinbread pedal into the Vintage Modern is like a “More” option in my tone chain. With my ‘60 LP, I can get those classic tones and not have to crank the amp up to “Cops knocking on your door” levels. That’s where the pedal shines for me. Why do I have the Vintage Modern if I have an original JTM 45? Because the JTM 45 has been retired to studio duty. It’s far too valuable and getting kind of cranky in a delicate way to be loading it in and out of club gigs. The Vintage Modern also keeps me in good graces with my bandmates and the board operators in the clubs because I’m not blasting my bandmates off the stage with Jet engine at take off decibel levels. Oh, and the ‘60 LP...it no longer goes out to gigs either. I have an ‘88 LP Std. with Duncan Whole Lotta Love humbuckers in it that gets it done. Find yourself a used Vintage Modern and your problem will be solved.

Answer:	I'm a massive fan of Catalinbread pedals. I own a RAH, a Sabbra Cadabra, and an Echorec. With the Bandit on the clean channel (eq'd to your taste), I'd use the DLS to push the amp. It could sound cool this way. On the Bandit's lead channel, the DLS may muddy the clarity of your notes. It pays to experiment though as you may find you enjoy running it this way.

Answer:	Yes you can, but, the end result may be too strident, brittle or ear piercing. Ultimately, you may not like the sound. You're better off with an "amp-modeler" (e.g.: Line 6) or a DI box. The Joyo sounds best directly into an amp.
Question:	When I turn the Gain knob, the Level knob and the Tone knob to the right, there is lot of radio noise making me feel like I am at Niagra falls
Answer:	If you're literally hearing radio signals, that would make sense. The guitar pickups and cable could be acting as an antenna and under normal circumstances you would not be able to hear that, but with the gain cranked up it amplifies whatever is going into it, including radio noise. If you're just hearing lots of white noise, that makes sense also for the same reason. This pedal has a LOT of gain - much more than most people would ever use. You may not want to run the level knob all the way to the right. Set your amplifier louder and perhaps keep the level knob on the pedal nowhere past 50%. Some people say that the "sweet spot" with the gain on this pedal is around 9:00.
Question:	Best available(cheap) 9v converter that fits this is?.....Preferably on amazon,by the way
Answer:	Any 9V adapter that has the 2.1 MM (standard) reverse power plug will work. The Planet Waves or the Snark would be perfect, if you are powering more than one effect, I saw a supply that comes with a daisy-chain adapter included for about the same money.

Answer:	I roll the gain back on my amp to about 3 and let the pedal do its job amp is a peavey 6505.

It is a very heavy distortion pedal when dimed but if placed on a lighter setting would probably sound pretty cool with a bass guitar.Get that kinda old school Cliff Burton from Metallica kinda sound Im thinking.

Adjust for shaping frequency response: "High", "Mid", "Low", "Boost", "Level" and "Drive" 6 control knobs, independent EQ controls, allowing you to achieve metal, rock and punk sounds. with the combination of its three band EQ and drive and level knobs you can get a wide variety of tones from heavy blues through hard rock to high gain metal.

With the gain set at around 9 'o' clock using a bridge position humbucker you can get some excellent>

Where this pedal is most at home is with the gain at 12 'o' clock or higher. At 12 'o' clock you get some brilliant hard rock tones reminiscent of G N' Roses, Metallica and Iron'M.
Again using the 3 band EQ here will give you masses of variety. For a more 'metal' type sound why don't you try scooping the Mid out slightly and adding a few more highs and lows.

Push the gain to 3 'o' clock and you get an all out metal onslaught. Make sure you scoop the "Mid" and push the bass and highs and you'll be in metal heaven. Pinch Harmonics will fly off your guitar. A nice and tight low end helps keep any palm muted galloping riffs sounding crisp and clear.
